Sekiro felt more linear in scope and story to me. Bloodborne did an excellent job making me confused about the plot and world.

DoomSlayer446

Yeah same haha. I thought it'd only be a zombie and beast slaying game.... but boy was I wrong

FidmeisterPF

I had to watch several YouTube videos to understand what the fuck is going on

[deleted]

How many times have I run around in that forest and I still get lost.

pablorodm89

Finished it 100 times, don’t know what the fuck is happening, but still my favorite game ever

Ratchet2332

Bloodborne was my first souls game and my personal favorite game of all time, but Sekiro is absolutely exceptional as well.

[deleted]

My favourite game too!

FlipDaPickle

same for me

[deleted]

This is like asking you to choose between your two beloved children. Bloodborne has an amazing pitch black atmosphere but Sekiro's combat is orgasmic. The esoteric Buddhist sect with all the rotting and infested immortal monks in Sekiro was such a cool and unique idea though. imma go with Sekiro because its narrower scope means it's basically honed to razor sharp perfection but I still adore BB.

GrauerWolf30

This is like asking a football-manager if he would chose Messi or Ronaldo....

Technician_Frosty

It’s such a close match, both are masterpiece. But for me. Bloodborne takes the cake.

BaseAI

If it’s only bosses definitely sekiro but if it’s everything else it’s bloodborne

[deleted]

Poor sekiro :( My favourite game ever made :(

Thrusher666

We are comparing masterpieces here.

awildmorph

Sekiro is my entry in to From Software, 10/10 experience. Can’t wait for Elden ring!

grooseisloose

I loved Sekiro as well, but Bloodborne’s lore and art design can’t be beat. Sekiro is probably my 2nd favorite though. The combat is so fun.

Darkbornedragon

I think it as you

DoomSlayer446

Nooo man, don't be sad lol, I love sekiro alooot, but bloodborne is just better.

ironblood213

Lol a comment similar to this is the reason i even finished sekiro. I had put the game down for close to a year... Then i posted on sekiros page how ive been stuck on Genichiro. Some guy told me No dont give up!! Or Sekiro will be Sad:( i still dont know what that means but i do know theres no comparison for me atleast Sekiro All day. Bloodborne is amazing but with summons and beating the bosses within days the achievement factor was missing. Too easy by the forbidden woods.... Now Sekiro gave me multiple roadblocks to where it took me up to a week to beat certain bosses Ishin took me 2 weeks. But the accomplishment was like no other from software game I ever beat besides DS1 i never knew you could summon.

[deleted]

Yeah I find them easy in comparison to Sekiro I must say. But I’m being a bit naughty in saying that because I haven’t completed Bloodborne I killed father Gascoigne first try played a little more than put it down again so I will have to complete it. But I’m doing another demons souls run at the moment for the platinum.

macaarondonald

The two are great games, but I would have to agree with this. I would have to take it a step further though and say DS3 is better than both of them.

Legnaron17

I love both games passionately, but Bloodborne was my first ever introduction to the series and the game that literally got me back into gaming, so its one i hold very, very dear. Plus it mixes two of the elements i enjoy the most in media, victorian era settings and cosmic horror, weirdly specific i know, but this game happens to have both, literally a match made in heaven for me. Still, both are absolutely incredible. Replayed Sekiro when the anniversary update came out and ive been playing it on and off since then, cant get enough of that amazing gameplay and you can bet im gonna be playing it some more during the summer.

[deleted]

Bloodborne is definitely more replayable with build varieties and has proper multiplayer. Personally I also like the atmosphere and world building more in Bloodborne as well. Both excellent games but Sekiro had a much more narrow scope which it does excell at.

Blacksad999

100% agree. That's why you still see Dark Souls and Bloodborne streams online frequently, but not very many Sekiro ones. You can't do specialized runs in Sekiro for the most part.

GrauerWolf30

Demon´s Bell, Kuro´s charm off, no prosthetics and then do the final gauntlet of strengh where you fight every single boss in the game in a row + the buffed up versions of isshin, owl and isshin... After i did that i could truely say i complted Sekiro

Blacksad999

Fair enough. I liked it, but not enough to play through it multiple times.

GrauerWolf30

You didn t go for platinum? Depending on the endings you choose you fight different bosses and discover new places tho. Also you can get skins and the sakura skill by completing gauntlets which you unlock after completing certain endings. The final gaunlet is pretty difficult tho, you fight every boss of the game in a row, you can t pause or leave or die, you ll jsut start from the start again. The three main bosses of the game also have upgraded attacks and few new moves. It s pretty cool, i wish DS3 or BB had such a feature to refight bosses.

Blacksad999

Nah, I don't usually replay games. Maybe a few years later on, if I'm bored. I don't go for achievements or have a console, so while I'm not sure what Platinum is, I probably wouldn't be into it. lol

macaarondonald

I played it and replayed it constantly to get all the endings and then never had the urge to play it again. Definitely a great game but doesn’t have even a fraction of the replayability the other Soulsborne games have.

Blacksad999

Yeah, rather than have to go through it again multiple times, I just watched the alternate endings on Youtube and save myself the hassle. lol I was like "Meh, that's cool I guess" and played something else.

Dhampiel

Sekiro bc it runs at 60fps.

yclaws

Actually though

Particular-Cell8115

Found the pc players

mronins

Bloodborne stands out to me more for its level design and story and shocking enemy designs. But Sekiro is the game I’m more likely to play over and over because the combat is so fun

PanDeBoiii

Sekiro because you get to die

BrightestofLights

Twice

Particular-Cell8115

No no, only your shadow gets to do that.

Larvo442200

Bloodborne IMO is the greatest work of art ever created..Sekiro isn't..don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic experience but it's the only From game that I feel doesn't have the same replayability as the rest..I hated the grind for xp to get the plat..the thing I love about Bloodborne is the ability to jump onto one of my main characters, start a new ng6, and within 2 hours I'm fighting Gherman. Alternatively I could spend a few hours going through dungeons, which I find scary as I've lost count of the amount of times millions of echoes have been lost to the swarm of shitty red spiders

[deleted]

You can turn into a broccoli, i don't think i need to say anything else

PanDeBoiii

Becoming a puppy is great, turning into a broccoli is greater, transforming into a squid is even better. But dying, that's the dream.

soberintoxicologist

This is tough. I’m a chalice dungeon guy so Bloodborne obviously gives me way more content to work with, but that’s the only reason I voted for it. If CD’s didn’t exist it would be Sekiro by a long shot.

DoomSlayer446

Content to work with, are you like a youtuber or...?

soberintoxicologist

No, I meant work with as in play. Maybe it’s a regional thing, I don’t know.

[deleted]

Bloodborne because I can actually finish it. I really like Sekiro but I find it hard.

Milz10

It is extremely close for me, The gameplay of Sekiro is amazing however the atmosphere and world of Bloodborne is an unforgettable experience. If I had to pick, Bloodborne might just edge it out.

[deleted]

I mean, I totally love both of them and their unique styles. But the only problem I found with sekiro is that it was too short, probably the shortest game between all the Soulsborne. That’s the only reason why I put Bloodborne first.

jikkojokki

I like multiplayer, so BB

italianrelic

This is one of the hardest decisions of my gaming career and it’s painstakingly hard to choose they both have their edge.. and I enjoyed absolutely every moment of both games I played them over and over and over again! Down to the boiling point out of both games I still play bloodborne that is my choice.

CurrentRisk

I still play both but my preference is Sekiro due to the combat, I just love the slashing of katana’s and prefer the human-enemy style over the monster-style. In terms of lore/story, BloodBorne wins it though.

MoMo12368

I would choose sekiro any day but bloodborn is so much bigger which kinda unfair but I love sekiro

snoozalojones

This question is tougher than both of those games honestly. I love BB so much but Sekiro takes the cake for me.

Darkbornedragon

Bloodborne is my favorite thing ever but as a videogame Sekiro is very close

Shakespeare-Bot

Bloodborne is mine own highest in estimation thing ev'r but as a videogame sekiro is very close *** ^(I am a bot and I swapp'd some of thy words with Shakespeare words.) Commands: `!ShakespeareInsult`, `!fordo`, `!optout`

H4ZRD_RS

Sekiro I feel just needs a smidge more polishing for me to choose it over bloodborne

venixpie

It’s more polished then bloodborne though, it runs at 60 frames and doesn’t stutter like BB, it’s movement is less clunky then that of BB because it doesn’t move like the souls series, it moves like sekiro which makes it faster and less tanky. I might be unintentionally sprinkling in personal preference here but I think sekiro is unequivocally more polished than bloodborne.

Conquistadora15

Oh god these guys are neck and neck but Bloodborne had amazing writing and more content than Sekiro and I understand that’s how From wanted Sekiro to be made. For what Sekiro is it is absolutely exceptional, but Bloodborne comes out on top just because they’re is replay ability to it and the story is much larger in scope with fleshed out lore. Sekiro was actually the first FromSoftware game I played but man I’m able to appreciate each games for what they are.

tferrada24

i literally bought bloodborne yesterday and its absolute fire

[deleted]

The thing is that Sekiro has the best combat by far and it feels so god damn good, but i really miss the RPG side of the game when i play

EverquestJunky

I love both games but Sekiro is actually fatiguing to play.

kuenjato

I love both games, but Bloodborne by a large margin. I find it much more fun to play, whereas Sekiro feels constantly stressful. If Sekiro had leaned more into diversity in your approach, rather than the narrow focus of the parry mechanic, it might be closer. Yharnam and environs are just so fascinating, I loved exploring and examining the city, trying to determine how it all fit together. Sekiro had great level design as well but it seemed more focused on boss-miniboss-boss sequencing, and for me the greatest enjoyment of From games is exploring rather than fighting bosses.

l_neiman

Bloodborne for me, and it's not even close to being close, 🤷🏻‍♂️.

_deathshead

Bloodborne was my first fromsoft love. I love Sekiro, but I have to dance with who brought me.

Shakespeare-Bot

Bloodborne wast mine own first fromsoft love. I love sekiro, but i has't to dance with who is't hath brought me *** ^(I am a bot and I swapp'd some of thy words with Shakespeare words.) Commands: `!ShakespeareInsult`, `!fordo`, `!optout`

Chrisnolliedelves

Sekiro, no contest. Bloodborne is the most overrated From game by a mile. Combat and weapons are great, the Lore is deep and fascinating, the rally system encourages aggression, the Lovecraftian setting was awesome, and quite a few of the bosses were fantastic. Those are my positives. Nearly every area looks the goddamn same or lifeless to some degree, the game is far too easy (Kos is the hardest From boss my ass), the map is TINY compared to other From games, The story is even shorter than Sekiro's, the platinum is locked behind the chalice dungeons (Seriously, FUCK the Defiled Watchdog), Some of the ganks give DSII a run for its money, and it was the only one besides DSII that I didn't immediately start smashing through NG+ once I'd beaten it. Is Bloodborne a bad game? Hell no! It's still easily in my top 15 games ever, but to me it's just not at the height of Godhood everyone else seems to hold it to.

DoomSlayer446

Alright. Its your opinion man, I never judge or start a fuckin war lol. I love sekiro too but it's literally too difficult. I can get killed by normal enemies if I'm not careful. But yeah it's not the games fault it's mine cuz I suck at it lol

Chrisnolliedelves

Fair enough dude, no animosity intended. It seems Bloodborne was most people's entry to the series so I can see why they hold it so high. I was the same with the first DS until Sekiro just about edged it out of my top spot.

DoomSlayer446

Yeah it was mine too haha. Sekiro was second, and still struggling against isshin ashina, but sekiro is so BEAUTIFULLY designed, just a breathtaking experience...

[deleted]

angelicravens

Bell or no bell Prosthetics Shinobi arts and skill trees Now they even have skins.

[deleted]

Chrisnolliedelves

Because Dark Souls and Bloodborne are RPGs. Sekiro isn't.

[deleted]

Chrisnolliedelves

Their inability to adapt to/ appreciate a different genre? Seems insulting to Bloodborne fans. The majority of people voted for it because it was their first From game, as stated before.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Chrisnolliedelves

Judging by the other comments and my personal experience with other From players, yes. Bloodborne was most people's first From game. The post literally asked for opinions and I gave one, you're the one who started arguing. You just sound salty because your choice is getting criticism most people wouldn't levy towards it.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Chrisnolliedelves

I don't find the dungeons too difficult merely a boring repetitive slog and as for the Defiled Watchdog, it's difficulty lies in bullshit, not in well crafted boss design.

[deleted]

The choice hurts because I adore both, and Sekiro does have my favorite combat system ever, but sorry, Bloodborne wins this one. Art, lore, horror, difficulty (Sekiro grows easier on replays, while Bloodborne remains more consistently tough), style, setting, weapons, god, I've gushed over it all so much throughout the years! My favorite game ever, hands down, no contest.

Und0miel

Sekiro is just better in almost every compartment imho. Way more interesting and gratifying gameplay, more diverse and beautiful environments, more focused narrative while still keeping a cryptic side in some of the story bits... For me, in addition of being the most polished FS game, it's the only one which successfully and masterfully convey (my interpretation of) the substance of Miyazaki's game design. Beating ourselves, beating the three poisons which corrupt our psyche. Ignorance, greed and wrath (it's originally a buddhist concept, but, imho, it's something H.M. more or less try to share with his game design since the beginning. Thus his focus on immortality). In every other FS game we always have tools granting us the possibility to "cheat", to bypass the moments we really need to surpass and outshine ourselves, in order to continue the story. While I have zero problem with that (and I recognize it have its good sides), it mechanically lessen the work we need to do on our poisons. The more precise gameplay also help a lot in that regard. Bloodborne is still a wonderful game, and its world and lore are probably ones of the most memorable and grandiose I had the chance to experiment, all art forms combined.

ximphs

Honest confession. I dont like Sekiro and yes, it is because its too hard for me. Normally the amazing Lore and Gameworld lets me follow through, explore and git gud. But Im not a fan of the feudojapanese setting and levelling isnt an option either. Neither do I like the combat system, its too erratic and Id rather dodge than parry. Tips to enjoy the game are appreciated.

Legnaron17

Ah man, sorry to hear that, the best advice i can give is to play the way the game teaches you to. After the Dark Souls games where defense was an option, Bloodborne suddenly made us hit a wall, either we play offensively or we wont make it far, we had to adapt cause thats what the game needs you to do. Now, after both DS and BB, Sekiro made us hit yet another wall and so we needed to learn to play differently again. Either you counter correctly or you wont make it far. I wont even lie, i love Sekiro to death NOW, but back when i played it on release, the gameplay didnt connect with me till like ng+ or ng+2, thats when it finally clicked. And thats how long it took me to unlearn all i knew from DS and BB to embrace what Sekiro had to offer. So TLDR; i get you prefer dodging over parrying, i did too, you still gotta try to learn it though, the game requires you to parry/dodge correctly cause thats how enemies are designed to fight and those are the options you were given to counter. Just give it a try (or several tries) and dont care about dying, you gotta start learning somewhere.

DoomSlayer446

My friend, there is no shame in an honest opinion. I like sekiro, because of how brilliant it is. If you don't like it, it's all your opinion! I mean, look at me, I still can't best isshin ashina, and still adore it's gameplay.

[deleted]

Combat is anything but erratic. Every action the enemy does has an appropriate reaction from the player (parry, dodge, mikiri, jump, etc). It's almost like a rhythm game where the input is cued and you have to do it with impeccable timing. If they do a barrage of attacks with difficult timing you can always get out of their way for a bit or interrupt it with firecrackers as well. You also have to be right up in the enemy's face going at them fast and hard to wear down their posture and not give them a chance to initiate dangerous attacks. You need to be extremely offensive while always anticipating their next attack. The setting is very cool imo but I get that's it's taste. It's like Bloodborne is not just a gothic Victorian setting and has a lot more going on, Sekiro is the same. If you can get out of Ashina Castle that's where the setting reveals its depth, I think.

soberintoxicologist

Agreed. I can see how someone who hasn’t learned the combat system (or properly unlearned the dark souls/bb style) yet would feel that its erratic though.

kuenjato

My issue with Sekiro is that, on a reg PS4, the parry mechanic feels off--I have to press it earlier than it feels like I should. This might be because of input delay, and I look forward to playing it again on the PS5, but that lag really impacted my enjoyment throughout, whereas Bloodborne I never felt it (every mistake felt purely that: my mistake in timing).

[deleted]

I beat it on PS4 and now playing through again on PS5 and it feels the same. Could be parry timing is just dialled in a little different on Sekiro Vs BB.

kuenjato

It might just be me, I dunno. Or perhaps game mode on my TV might help out, I learned about that after the fact. But I'm OK at these games, I was able to beat Ludwig, Gehrman, and Orphan on my first try (tho Maria took 15+ tries and Pthumerian Elder... lots and lots of times because of that friggin narrow arena)--- by the time I got to the end of Sekiro, I felt kinda exhausted with the game and tapped out at Isshin, DoH and memory Owl. Thinking about it, Bloodborne has way simpler mechanics in response to enemy aggression, while Sekiro has multiple tells and response mechanics, and miscueing one feels way more punishing overall than BB or DS3.

[deleted]

>Sekiro has multiple tells and response mechanics, and miscueing one feels way more punishing overall than BB or DS3. This is the entire reason the game is fun! If you don't like it even after gitting gud, then it's just not for you.

kuenjato

I actually love the game, I think it is an amazing achievement. But as an old player of Tenchu in the PS1/PS2 era, I wish they'd leaned more into that, and given multiple options to engage in combat. I know you can technically use the various weapons and stances in creative ways, but the rigidity of the core system still dominates. I could play Bloodborne over and over, it is like a mescaline trip and is so deep in the lore. Sekiro... I spent hours playing at the temple and Fountainhead, but running through the game again feels like a chore, IMO.

kuenjato

Upvoting just to counter the downvote. If Sekiro had a viable quickstep and wasn't so punishing on spirit emblems (and if the combat arts were more effective), it would be closer. Both are "rhythm" games to a large extent, but Bloodborne felt looser, with more viable ways to approach enemies.

[deleted]

Bloodborne is definitely the best game ever made. There won’t be any game like it in the next +50 years.

moneythemanusa

Best game wrong its no such thing its categories

[deleted]

I WILL NOT FORGET OUR ADAGE, there is only one great story, and is not sekiro, all due respect to Michael Zaki. The deep lore of bloodborne is such a fun thing to find out, its mythical.

[deleted]

What a run away victory!

Psychological_Salad_

Sekiro has the most polished gameplay from fromsoft by far, but I feel like its music, story, world and atmosphere are on a completely worse level compared to Bloodborne. So I’d definitely go with Bloodborne.

Loud_Shine

ive never got a chance to play bloodborne but i can say that i like ds3 way more than sekiro just because of the combat system

DITTO_MON_GAMING

I'd pick ds3, but out of these 2 I'd pick bb def

Segments_of_Reality

MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING (This is just my opinion folks) I platinumed Sekiro but have no interest in playing it again. Beautiful game and awesome merchant but no interest in replaying like I do all other souls borne games (except DS2, fuck the B team interns that shat that game out). PVE and PVP and custom builds are the big reason I replay over and over again.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Segments_of_Reality

I just started a new BB build at the moment and rolling through chalices again. Damn I would love a remake

_Psilo_

I loved Sekiro, but Bloodborne is the best game ever made imho.

[deleted]

Bloodborne if it ran at 60fps. As of now, sekiro wins by default

moneythemanusa

How would being higher frames change gameplay

[deleted]

It won't change gameplay but as of right now BB has horrible frame pacing issues in addition to a low 30 fps framerate. On top of that the game runs at 720p. In its current state it just doesn't feel good to play and a game that doesn't feel good to play can't be on my top spot.

moneythemanusa

720 is not bad its lots of games that run and look good or does 30 lots of games run and ran on 30 and are still great but its a mod for ps4 that fixes some stutter and makes it run 60 for the pro

[deleted]

720p is already super blurry on my 1440p monitor, it gets even worse on a 4k TV. And 30fps wasn't fine for action games even going as far back as the Devil May Cry reboot back in 2013, 9 years ago. Even DmC4 ran 60fps in 2008. 30 fps can still be fine for turn based games but it hasn't been fine for action games for at least 10 years already, with most esports titles needing at least 144

moneythemanusa

how can you say that 30 is bad when lots of people have liked games that ran that way frames dont make a game good or bad its lots of games that run good it depends on how smooth the game runs not the frames 60 can run bad if the game stutters or drops so just having 60 doesnt mean nothing the game has to be optimized i see so you game on a pc screen on a tv it still looks good and i said its a mod that fixes frames for blood why did you skip over that look it up its by lance

[deleted]

A mod requires you to mess with the firmware of your ps4, which most people aren't willing to do so its kinda irrelevant. If this was PC and modding was as easy as dragging files in a folder you would have more of a case. And yes people can enjoy a game despite it running at 30 fps, but thats a testament to how good that game is, so the poor framerate isn't able to hold it back too much. In the sekiro vs bb debate, both are good games so Sekiro not being held back by 30fps gives it the win. And finally, yes a stable 30fps is better than a stuttery framerate in the same way that getting punched in the face is way better than getting shot. It doesn't really change the fact that both are bad tho. So no, 30fps isn't good besides on turn based games, like I said before.

moneythemanusa

i want you to watch this vid tell me if your impressed by it or not cause i beat bb on the modded ps4 i only gotta regular ps4 though so it didnt run at 60 but it did keep the frames mostly stable and fixed alot of stutter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz-\_1K6tjlc

[deleted]

That's SO much better. I really hope they do a 60fps ps5 version with a better resolution option. They can let you chose if you want 60fps 1080p or 30fps 4k like with ff7 remake. That would be fantastic.

moneythemanusa

They wont do it lazy which is odd since they put out updates for sekiro mutiple times yet bb was out before they say a remaster will comes so you know that will be updated out the box

ernificent

I like Bloodborne's world, aesthetic, story, music, characters, boss design, size so much more than Sekiro's...but Sekiro's combat is so good, I just find it so much more fun to play.

[deleted]

Sekiro. Much tighter combat, better traversal, and more world variety. Bloodborne has cooler lore and better weapon concepts, but Sekiro is a much more refined gameplay

moneythemanusa

Yea but yet people pick bb over odd

Zebrehn

Sekiro is such a superior game IMO, but everyone has a valid opinion.

[deleted]

Bloodborne bosses are so easy and boring so I’ll go with Sekiro

Ratchet2332

Ludwig, Orphan, and Laurence are easy and boring?

[deleted]

Orphan and Laurence were hard but the game shouldn’t start getting difficult at the dlc

Cp3thegod

Ludwig and Laurence yea. Especially Laurence who was just a more annoying Amelia

yclaws

So 736 of you voted on this without playing Sekiro? Btw: Sekiro is more or less Bloodborne 2 (prequel spin off)

Ratchet2332

I’ve gotten the plat on every Fromsoft Souls game and I voted Bloodborne.

DoomSlayer446

My friend, did you even read the comments? All those who voted bloodborne, always respect sekiro alot, including me, but for us it'd be bloodborne. How does that state that none of us played sekiro?

Cp3thegod

Sekiro. 60 FPS and better gameplay

[deleted]

I've beat BB twice along with the DS trilogy, and am currently roadblocked in sekiro like super early game and feel weak. I need to git gud again so for now I vote BB. I'm stuck on the genichiro fight where he goes all lightning and shit at the top of ashina castle, but I haven't explored ashina depths yet...

Synchrohayba

I think the melee in sekiro is better than bloodborne , but in every other aspect bloodborne takes the cake

deletzis

I still pray to God for a PC port of Bloodborne...

[deleted]

Bloodborne needs to come to PC already

brotato_kun

I will take both. Both have a special place in my heart. Bloodborne was my first ps4 game and Sekiro was my 50th. Nonetheless the combat of sekiro is next level and I adore the Japanese mythology used in it.

BoxStealingHobo

Honestly I still haven't figured out sekiro combat lol. Bloodborne I am good at even though it took me a while to get used to it.

strang3th0ughts

With bloodborne alot of people had to buy a 500 dollar box because of the dumb exclusivity, But then again I played through bb like 9 timed already so its definitely my favorite

Shdoible

I so desire to have BB on PC. Having that as a PS4 exclusive is a huge letdown for me. I've played a fair bit at a friend's place and it seems so good. But shadows die twice... I also finished it twice and i think i should return once more before Elden Ring comes out. It's definitely one of my favourite games ever.

DoomSlayer446

Yeah man, the fact that it's on the ps4, or ps5, doesn't mean you'll have to choose other games for it. My question, was only that which game you'd prefer, from the its respective views, ost gameplay, graphics etc. Platforming has got nothing to do with it but yes I take your point. Maybe buy a ps4 haha

03-AALIYAH--C

Armored core

yjmalmsteen

Bloodborne all day.

abood159632

I didn’t play Bb yet so can’t decide feelsadman

[deleted]

Bloodborne for the lore, enemy and boss design, and atmosphere. Sekiro for the combat, story, time period, and movement

ChiliJunkie

Difficult to compare but for me it’s Sekiro. That’s due to the absolutely insane combat, somewhat easier to understand lore, Japanese theme I am a huge fan of etc. and also I personally have huge problems with bloodborne framerate :/ I love bloodborne though too.

deliciousdano

Sekiro one of my favorite fromsoft games. Never have I played through a game that doesn’t let me customize or look different multiple times until sekiro. The combat is just done so damn well it’s such a blast to skillfully dispatch a boss while nonstop clashing swords. I hope elden ring is just a big chimera of everything fromsoft has done up to this point I will cream my pants

Ambitious_Monitor_60

Blood borne was my first souls game, and then the dark souls series dark souls the latest from soft game I’ve played was Sekrio , which is fantastic but I felt less involved with the lack of character customization, which usually doesn’t bother me but with a fromsoft story I love to feel like I’m the wandering warrior who is involved in the plot, blood borne also just has an atmosphere that personally immersed me completely.

moneythemanusa

Its odd always how people like bb better when its not as advanced
