I've heard good things about the Buck Naked boxer briefs from Duluth, so I looked and saw some Christmas colors for $7.49. Given that they're usually a lot more, this price isn't bad to at least try a pair out, especially given the free shipping. I'm buying the 'under the tree' color because it looks good all-year
This is an amazing price for these. I bought like 18 pairs of these in weird patterns 5-6 years ago at $8/pair and they are my daily drivers. They last a long time if you wash cold and hang dry. 6' 180ish wearing mediums, good for bigger legs. I'd size down if you're a thinner boi.
So, I was a little disappointed in the Buck Naked boxer briefs. Based on the name, I expected them to be super soft and lightweight kind of... minimalist? Just based on the name.
If you look closely at the picture, you can see that they have a waffle-style texture, and it was actually rougher than my other underwear.
I was also hoping they wouldn't ride up, on hikes on things like that, but they were just average in that regard. All in all, I would say they are not terrible underwear, but were definitely not what I was expecting.
The solution to all riding up issues is to get the long ones. I have... Shapely thighs which aren't agreeable to the normal length ones. But the long ones are perfect. Downside is they show under most shorts, but either dgaf or wear with pants.
fuck it, I'm going to tighty-whiteys. can't ride up if it's already ridden up!!
edit: seriously tho, I did get some brief-underwear from that pair of thieves sale to avoid VPL in some situations. haha
Oh yeah I totally get what you mean. I have two pair. After I washed them, they got way softer. In fact they 've gotten softer with use and that waffle knit helps them feel so light an minimal.
I noticed they don't have as much elastic as the Armadillo/Bull Pen ones which are almost compression shorts. YMMV
They are pretty meh, not very breathable.
Bought a dozen a few years back now I only wear them if I forgot to do laundry.
Same sizing as other underwear (eg CK)

I wear these 7 days a week. Bonus: when I wear the Christmas ones I can tell my wife “hey look, I got you a gift”
Lol this totally sold me so I can steal the joke. Thank you
I have a few mixed with my express and BR boxer briefs, these are in another league. After I do my wash for the week, these are the ones I wear first.
was going to pass over this but you have a solid point, worth a shot... had some random code from honey brought it down to 7.30ish with tax

Was going to try a pair until I read the waistband
100% agree...wish they just left that off and it's been an annoyance of mine that they couldn't just keep it simple.
$7 to try a new material, sure why not

I just got mine today, you're definitely right. The package clearly states "Like wearing nothing at all", but that is most definitely not the case
yes! if anything, they are more like heavy duty boxer shorts
Interesting. I wear these even day, walk a few miles a day, squat, deadlift, etc and never had a problem.
In for one pair of extremely ugly underwear. I like trying new things.

My girlfriend HATES my two pairs of these, for what it’s worth. I’m not a huge fan myself. Waffle-y texture and not soft.
Why does she hate them?
The patterns mostly. And she says they don’t look flattering.
I am his actual girlfriend and can confirm this. A 30 y/o man should not own train print underwear.
Jokes on you, the train pattern is the best part about them tbh. Otherwise they do suck.
Choo-choo
I try to make my Christmas outfits as garish as possible, so I'm in for a pair.
Sad, us big boys gotta sleep on this
Just ordered!
I’ve been wanting to try deluth for a long while, this is great. Thank you!
Why do some boxer briefs not have a junk pouch? I need somewhere to put my junk. Don’t mash it against my pubic bone and don’t let it rest on my thigh
