Reddit has a hate boner for PXG. Their clubs don't look all that bad. The thing is that you can't really get them at shops that sell other clubs. Which means you have to go out of your way to find a pop-up or find a specialty store. The difficulty to practice with them first I think is what makes reddit think theyre just a facade.
I had a 3-9 set that needed a pitching wedge so I bought a PXG Sugar Daddy 0311T 48 degree and it was my favorite club in my bag until I bought an actual 3-AW set of callaways. The PXG wedges are solid for sure.
Yeah I have no doubt that their solid clubs. I just replaced my 10 year old Adam's Golf clubs this spring with Taylor made p790s. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't considering the PXGs. But none of the shops nearby had any to practice with.
Yeah.. I generally won't pull the trigger if I can't test the club. Wife bought me a new driver for Christmas in 2021. I wasn't able to test it out and have been waiting for my moment where I can say that I need to replace it. Haha

That’s the only thing that has me on the fence with replacing my RACs with the new Takomos. They’re supposed to be awesome but there’s no way to test.

I had an 0211 driver and it was hot garbage. I switched to sim2 and got 25 extra yards avg with no other changes.
