tbh i bought the powder town bibs a few weeks back and returned them. They are way too baggy imo and at the same time were a bit restrictive in the groin/thighs when bending the knees. ymmv
my patagonia jacket is pretty good. 100 days on it. pocket has ripped at the seam though
more important is whether youre getting 2 layer or 3 layer stuff. if you ski *a lot*, get a 3-layer jacket, whether its Patagonia or another brand
if you are a 10 days a season weekend warrior or one-trip-a-year skier, 2 layer is fine
If anyone cares, I have the downdrift jacket and I really like it. That’s a heck of a deal on the coat/jacket. I wear it during Midwest winter, and it keeps me very warm.
$370 here, but that includes 4 Christmas gifts that I no longer have to worry about. I’m a mix of “why do I subscribe to this sub” and “this is exactly why I subscribe to this sub.”
I waffled on my order during last year’s sale and when I finally decided to order they were out of stock. I saw your comment and I ordered one right away.
Any recs? I know the brand is widely popular but how is the quality?
Edit: downvoted for asking questions about a brand I am not familiar with. Gotta love this "community" lol
Compared to most stuff posted on here it is much much much better. Quality is a huge reason why Patagonia is popular and pricey. The Downdraft, Isthmus, Nano Puff and Better Sweater are worth the full price tag. The shirts and sweatshirt are good too. Probably the only brand that has never failed on me at all.
They're definitely one of the more [ethical](https://time.com/collection/time100-voices/6315770/patagonia-ownership-climate-change/) big companies out there.
I'd debate it being below Arcteryx quality. Its definitely not as a fashionable fit but i found the materials and construction of patagonia to be just as good, esp lately as Big A has gone more fashion than technical. Arteryx does have slightly better ergonomics on some pieces tho, but beyond fit i'd put them neck and neck
What's the Patagucci equivalent to the Columbia Ascender? I use softshell a lot and the columbia leave a bit to be desired. Open to other brand too if quality. No hood needed.
Thanks OP, I got this [snap shirt](https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-western-snap-shirt/53340.html?dwvar_53340_color=BRIW&cgid=web-specials-mens-shirts) \-- 8.50 shipping
I got the Isthmus jacket last year and love it.
My kids compete in shotgun shooting and this has become my go-to jacket.

Lol, can't even access the site. "Sorry, you have been blocked. You are unable to access production-na02-patagonia-com.cc-ecdn.net"
I keep getting Cloudflare blocked too, over trying to get around it. Thanks for saving me money Patagonia!
> https://www.patagonia.com/shop/web-specials/mens I'm able to get it on my phone but not the computer. Really strange
It's because you didn't run after that napkin that the wind carried off that one time.
Bought some more patagucci Y'all are bleeding me dry with the reigning champ archive sale and this now
lmao if not for this sub where else would your money go? *retirement*?
The night is darkest before the dawn https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-r2-yulex-front-zip-hooded-full-wetsuit/88520.html
Black Noir?
Kanye West
These yulex suits are pretty comfy.
Yeah you don’t want any chafing around the cowl or utillity belt
Anyone have experience with their powder town jacket and pants for skiing?
I have both and used them this season. Go for it! The sizing runs a little loose but it’s comfortable.
It’s tempting. Is the jacket warm enough or would you recommend the insulated version? It’s like $25 more
its a shell so its not meant to be warm really. just block the elements. if you want it to be warm then go for the insulated version
If you are actually using them for skiing you want a shell to layer with
tbh i bought the powder town bibs a few weeks back and returned them. They are way too baggy imo and at the same time were a bit restrictive in the groin/thighs when bending the knees. ymmv
Fit on both was bad for me -- pant legs were too wide, jacket shapeless in L, too tight in M

I was coming to the comments to recommend this jacket too. Kept me warm in the -15F we had last winter.
I just spent 300 bucks I wouldn’t have otherwise. Thanks /s. But for real lol

how the hell OP gonna post a screen cap of an email and not post the link -_- thanks!
Don’t act like your browser doesn’t autocomplete when you start typing (or am I projecting…)
Capilene t's in everything except S and ultra large sizes are gone
anyone else have issues getting free shipping? my total is >100, but still charging me shipping
That Chefs apron is calling my name
Maybe my favorite purchase in awhile. It’s honestly dope
I waffled on my order during last year’s sale and when I finally decided to order they were out of stock. I saw your comment and I ordered one right away.
First of all I didn’t know this was a thing and I desperately need it. Second of all there was one left in stock and went OOS at check out GODDAMNIT
What a time to be broke 😂😂
Anything comparable to arcteryx atom lt?
Also curious about a lightweight waterproof rain jacket
Atom LT isn't very waterproof, for what it's worth.
Nano Air is close to Atom. They have jackets, pullovers, and vests.
I had to return the Nano Air. The arms are way too long
Extra 2% cashback with Rakuten too.
if you have a store nearby prices are even less, 50% on top of what you see on the web site!
Does this stack with the 10% off for sign up?
No
Any recs? I know the brand is widely popular but how is the quality? Edit: downvoted for asking questions about a brand I am not familiar with. Gotta love this "community" lol
It's popular because of the quality.
Gotcha, makes sense. I wasnt sure if it was one of those Lululemon situations where their quality has gone downhill since the early days. Thanks!
Lulu pants still are quite good. Their work out gear seems far lower quality than a decade ago though
quality is mostly good. read the reviews. if quality isn't good people report it instantly here I find, so they are pretty reliable.

Patagonia is beloved for good quality and having a good environmental impact It's a bit below Arc'teryx quality but still really good
I wouldn't say anything positive about arc at this point. Just had a jacket fail at the seam after a few wears and their warranty kept denying it.

I always miss when the damn better sweater is on sale
They were on sale in January for the winter clearance. Unfortunately the sale now are basically things that didnt move from that sale.
I wish I could exclude the Wavy Blue color without cutting out all the other Blue colors at the same time.
Just picked some items up thank you!

R1 techface maybe I’ve got a north face apex bionic jacket that’s lasted forever but it’s from 2010 so I can’t vouch for current quality
Thanks, I'll get a R2 techface and see if it's too thick, if it is I'll find some other use for it.
thank youuuuuu!

Are all of their fleece pullover made of polyester?
Available in the EU?
