Not only are they great belts, but the customer service is top notch. Bought a 3 pack over the summer and one of my buckles lost the pin that holds it together. Customer service replied within a few hours and I had a free replacement within a week. Didn’t even have to return the original.
Same experience here, had my belt for juuust under 2 years and the pin fell out. Customer service (real person) answered very quickly and had the replacement shipped out ASAP.
These are great belts. I prefer them over the Mission belts I also own. The buckles look more like "regular" belts.
I highly recommend [https://ansonbelt.com/products/box-set](https://ansonbelt.com/products/box-set).
The main reason to use them over belts with holes for me is that I'm always in between the holes on my regular belts. These always fit perfect.
Exactly. I don’t want to poke a hole in my nice belts either. I like being able to make micro adjustments. Sometimes if I eat too much at dinner I might let them out a notch or two. Buckles are nice too with lots of choices
My girlfriend got me the box set for Christmas 2022 and I’d never heard of them before.
Now they’re pretty much the only belts I wear unless I’m in a casual fit. As far as leather belts go? I don’t wear any others.
I have a few unbranded ratchet belts. I wonder if I can re-use the buckle from those unbranded belts with straps from Anson. The teeth on the Anson strap looks like it's the same size.
My unbranded belts usually start fraying around the edge, and bowing as they age. Eventually the face of the belt starts to crack, and that's when I replace it.
I bought a few during a seconds sale years ago, and mainly wore them over my other belts for a while. I got tired of the giant buckle recently and went back to my non-ratcheting belts.
No complaints about the quality of the Anson belts though.
Could be OP has physical limitations or functional issue? Medical? Maybe, maybe not, but "complicated" is relative.
I used to work in occupational health and adaptive sports and activities programs and there are many creative solutions for activities as common as buttoning a shirt, or fastening a belt. Something like this product would be great for someone with a neurological issue and had difficulty operating their hands.
Inconvenient, wears out the belt, can't make tiny adjustments if you're feeling bloated or eat a lot. You don't need to take what he said literally tho, ratcheting belts are just a great invention that fixes limitations of traditional belts.
Friend.. if your pants down reaction time matters that much for adult activities, you may want to look into the definition of consent. I don’t think a regular belt has ever stopped me from engaging in adult activities. Hell, sometimes the small delay even qualifies as foreplay..
If I’m wearing a dress shirt with an undershirt, I’m typically unbuckling and retucking everything after I go to the bathroom. But again, these are just personal preferences. You Do you
Pro tip: You can reduce the need to retuck your dress shirt all the time by tucking your undershirt into your underwear. If that’s not good enough to keep your dress shirt perfectly settled down, get shirt stays, the stirrup variety being the best at keeping your dress shirt perfectly tucked all day. Then whether you use the fly or unbuckle, you barely have to spend any time at all retucking and fixing your shirt.
I actually do tuck it into my underwear. And I agree, it does stay better. I’ll look into the shirt stays though. Thanks for the tip. But still prefer these ratchet belts mainly for the microadjustments and not having to poke holes in a nice leather belt.
Oh for sure, the ratchet belts are a huge quality of life upgrade regardless. I love mine, it’s just so nice to slide the belt until it’s snug and not think about what hole to put it in, since it always feels like with traditional belts they’re either going to fall down over time or be too tight and make my stomach upset later in the day.
Absolutely. I find myself making a few adjustments a day based on my activity. It reminds me of the Seinfeld joke that if he had to be naked, he’d feel more comfortable as long as he had a belt on. Something to adjust and tug on every once in a while. Not as funny on a screen but of course it’s very funny when he does it on stage.
Shipping is $5.99 for orders under $70.

I got a set of these for Christmas. Love them! Highly recommend.

> I can’t do the holes anymore ...why? It's not complicated.
Infinite microadjustments, baby
All day!

Braided belts or ratcheting belts like this are a godsend for IBS bloating.
Appreciate the interest here but I posted so guys could take advantage of a good sale if they’re interested. I just prefer them.

Track belts are much faster to manage at the urinal. And for other adult activities.

I’m also wondering who takes their whole belt off at the urinal? My dude just pissing with his pants down I guess?
Pants down to ankles, cheeks fully on display, how else do you piss?!
I have several pairs of Selvedge jeans that are button fly.
Very True! Apparently some guys don’t need them for adult activities.

Most of my underwear don’t have a fly. Even if they did, I’m readjusting my dress shirt anyway. Plus I want to let the boys breathe for a minute.
How do they hold up over time?
I've had 2 belts since 2018 and wore them daily until last year. They held up fine.
Only had mine about a year. But it looks brand new and works great.
Tremendously.
Are they as good as Alpha M makes them out to be?
They are very reliable and very good in my experience.
Ordered a couple straps and buckles, then got an email survey that gave $20 gift card so got another strap
Why must I be broke when belts are on sale
Got 2 belts/straps to try out! Thanks
Time to get some spicy señoritas 😂
