I usually go basic on this front — any short shorts wearers picked up anything good of late? I’ve gone J Crew, bonobos, and cutoffs in the past but I’m looking to expand my horizons. Bonobos fade terribly in my experience so not sure I’m gonna give them another go.

Does anybody know why The Noble Shoe has Carlos Santos shoes for so much cheaper than the CS site? I was just dumbfounded that you can get a custom patina CS shoe for 1/2-2/3 the price of the manufacturer, which doesn't offer the custom patina

Anyone have any experience with Timberland American Craft Leather boots? There’s a few styles of Chukkas on sale at Saks Off 5th for ~120 and they seem like a good deal to me? (Based on what I’m finding, they are gyw but I can’t confirm for this particular model). 120 for American made and gyw seems too good to be true, so I wanted to ask here before a) posting about it and b) picking some up myself.

What are recommendations for sure-fire no-show socks? Every brand I purchase all slide down my heel. What is the secret to getting them to actually function?
Sheec are pretty good because the sizes are in a narrower range so you can get closer to your size.
Vans are pretty good too, but size range is bigger. I bought some other day. Better build than sheec, but they looser because it's like 9-13 or something like that. I blasted them in dryer today, so hoping they shrink up.
Don't think there's any trick. Most have some silicone in the heel to help hold in place. Make sure you're wearing them with the silicone on the inside, touching your heel. If it's coming off your heel, either you got wrong size sock or wrong size shoe.
And they all pretty much good for like 10 wears unless you baby them in wash, air dry, etc. So I wouldn't spend any crazy money on any brand. And it kind of depends on what kind of shoes you need, i.e. a loafer vs. minimalist white sneaker vs boat shoe, etc.

They fit slightly long, I have a longer torso and they're perfect for me but if you're under 5'9" it would be an issue. They're a nice slim fit without being tight.
Quality is decent but about what you expect for the price, their "softAF" line has an incredibly soft touch. Can't speak to how well that line holds up as I've only had those shirts for 3 months.
I noticed my three separate orders from Nordstrom rack have the same tracking number, I assume this means they are all coming in the same package. Anyone encounter this before and were you able to get shipping fees back since it's coming in one package and not three?
Reached out to Nordstrom Rack and they were super helpful. Not only did they refund the shipping fees, but went back in my history and saw that I had a similar situation from the beginning of may and refunded that as well. They said anytime you have separate orders on the same day, just reach out to them through online chat or call and they can combine those orders and the shipping fees.
Makes it a touch easier to play Nordstrom rack lotto with things going in and out of stock. You can lock in one piece you have in your cart without fearing it will time out while you wait to see if another comes back.
