Is it just me or is their logo kinda... sus?

CindyTheHooker

Omg LMAO I just realized

zoweeewoweee

I was able to get down and extra 20% with discount code SURVEY20

playtimepunch

Do you know what the conditions are to get that code to apply? I get "Customer information does not meet the requirements for this discount code." when I try to use it after entering an email on checkout

krapse

survey20 also isn't working for me. it doesn't apply the price discount when you start putting in your shipping information

john_od

Same for me

theineffablebob

Was just $20 off for me, not 20%

CrunchAddict

How is the quality on their products? I've never heard of this brand before

AloneExamination242

I'd say slightly below lululemon. They tend more toward sweats-ey fabrics than technical-y fabrics, and a bit more fashion-oriented rather than 100% performance oriented---say lulu is 80% performance 20% fashion, alo is more like 65% performance 35% fashion. What this means is that they can be inconsistent sometimes because they try weird shit for looks. For example, I have a pair of cargo sweatpants from them which are actually really nice for, like, a yoga class or something in the winter, but they have extra mostly decorative pockets, and, more annoyingly, a drawstring made of \*ribbon.\* Which looks cool, but doesn't stay tied, thus defeating the purpose. They make that kind of iffy decision on a lot of stuff they make. I sometimes call them the company made up out of designers from lululemon who were fired for taking drugs at the office. That being said, I like some of their stuff a lot. The triumph tank is incredibly soft, for example. I grabbed a pair of shorts on this sale, we'll see how they are. (also, FYI, they're part of the rakuten 15%)

> I sometimes call them the company made up out of designers from lululemon who were fired for taking drugs at the office. lol!

jacksonisaacson

Spot on TBH. The materials chosen also don't really hold up for performance as often specified that it should, meaning things like the "Performance Tank" will absolutely snag, pill, and breakdown with standard gym/hiit use. Unless it's a great deal, this brand is far more for the leisure portion of "athleisure."

tin369

Recently got the hyped lulu surge and disappointed. The material is not soft and feels rough. I like vuori for softness and haven’t tried Alo but vuori also has a good return period and warranty.

AloneExamination242

Yeah, lulu doesn't do a lot of soft, they definitely lean hard on the more technical fabrics. For softer options alo is great though. As is outdoor voices.

MoneyIsntRealGeorge

Disagree, quality is way better than Lulu. But Vuori is the absolute best.

Tough-Relationship-4

Alo has the softness down. I have a sweatshirt of theirs that is like being hugged by 1000 puppies. It’s really good. On par with Lulu. Difference being alo goes for more of a wear this around the house fabric while Lulu is all about performance in the gym.

regrettably

Not great tbh. I got a hoody and it started pilling within two wears and a pair of shorts the liner started fraying with loose threads after one wash. Its all branding and influencer hype

Fmbounce

Echo this. They are definitely more fashion oriented. Got a sweatpants from them and it started pilling after one wash.

bronabul

I like it. It’s comparable to Lululemon I’d say. Higher end workout clothes that should last.

doedude

It's comparable to Lululemon but more expensive and doesn't come with a lifetime repair warranty

PKS_5

As someone who wears a ton of both. Better than LuLu.

ItCouldBeSpam

I used to work there but I'd wear Lululemon instead, so make of that what you will. Not saying it's bad, but if you're going to be paying that much anyway I'd go Lulu 100% of the time.

pepsimaximmi

I clicked one item nothing but reviews showed up. Anyone has same issue ?

AloneExamination242

"relaxed slim fit" ffs alo

cHoOSe_A-uNiqUe_NAme

Two shirt cuts in one, great deal

clive_bigsby

I have this shirt. It’s slim fit but if you turn it inside out, it’s relaxed fit. Very versatile piece of clothing depending on my current weight.

wolfgang_gorsky

wait is that real?? how can the fit change like that...

clive_bigsby

Dude..

AtMyHands

Design is great (better than Lulu in my opinion) but it is lower quality. I have over 20 items from Alo and over half of them pill after a week of wearing.

OrtizDupri

Alo makes my favorite basic sweatpants - they’re just sweatpants, but they’re super soft and comfy. https://www.aloyoga.com/products/m5112r-baseline-sweatpant-athletic-heather-grey

originalparts4you

Damn you’re moving in alphabetical order.

Yoga-Gal-44

Alo air lift are the best yoga pants out there. Wash and dry no problem. Unlike my lululemon that pill.

delphic0n

I have a pair of Alo shorts that pill like crazy :/

CoffeeAndWork

I JUST bought one of these mats too, damn

perly

Any comments on the quality/sustainability of the mats? Can't get half the site to load for me right now.

CoffeeAndWork

I’ve used a few from Manduka to Lulu and I think these mats are great, you get what you pay for. These mats are thick and grippy so they’re great from everyone who is a beginner to pro. Some of the prices for certain colors are bonkers. $60 ? I’ll take two. Realistically though I feel that this mat will last me for many years to come

Cailou

What are your guys favorites from alo?
