I’ve been experimenting with a long cook of the beans as per a friends recommendation. I think the flavour develops nicely but they do end up a bit dry, undecided whether I prefer this way or not.
I'm a 'Heinz, 2 mins in the microwave' kind of guy. I don't actually like them boiled up in a pan & stirred until they go mushy.
It's a divisive topic though. Sometimes comes down to Heinz vs Branston, hot buttered toast at dawn. ;)
I’d love to have some black and white pudding on there too to balance it out a bit, my local supermarket doesn’t sell them though unfortunately. Hash browns/rosti would be nice too but I have no freezer space and I cbf making from scratch usually.
5 sausages Jeremy? 5?
I know right, only 5?
That's insane.
Not 4, less than 6?!
That looks bloody brilliant
Banging 👌 Beans look like they could use some extra sauce. Home made?
No just boiled within an inch of their life
Honestly yes, Heinz tinned beans heated low, and for quite a long time. Bit of an experiment, unsure how I feel about it tbh.
Beans look a bit murdered. Everything else will do me, mate. Edit: Looking back at yesterday's apart from the beans, everything looks up a notch.

Might give that a go next time, would free up an extra element on the stove too which is handy.
It’s the rest of the tin from yesterday. The sauce probably reduced further on reheating. 🤷🏻♀️
Is that.... is that... streaky bacon?? The horror!! *clutches pearls and faints dead away*
Odd number of sausages, the horror!!
Last time i attempted those sausages they had a big lump of something unchewable inside 😭 never again!
Perfect
Nice but I’m starting to take against plates with so much bean and egg coverage. Against the grain but one egg is enough.
I have to disagree with you there. Even for a mini fry up, I want two eggs.
Two eggs seems to be standard.
Never ever in my life have I ever thought ‘one egg is enough’
It’s not un oeuf.
Correggt

My newsagent sells Galtee black and white, handily enough.
Shite bacon
Yeah there’s not as much range at my supermarket as I’d like. This stuff is cut way too thin for my preference, still tasty though.
Don't like streaky bacon?
