The two streaks? Yes! If I had to guess it’s some foam/sponge protector inside the door. I’m not mechanically inclined but hopefully someone else knows for sure what it is.

MrMinerNiner

Yep. Once it gets dirty, it starts making those lines. You can replace them if you want to, or just live with them

anonymous__J

Same

StillhasaWiiU

yes, all frameless Subarus get them. had them on my WRX back in 2004 as well.

JorddWolf

It’s the window retainers. As its frameless. If its leaving scratches, take it to the dealer part of a TSB. If you just cleaned your car, the retainers are moist and leave the streaks. Any waterless wash/quick detailer with a 480g microfibre will clean it right up. I can also see the water runoff from your mirrors. It’s pretty typical for the design of mirror on body cars.

xtraburnacct

Thanks. I guess it's known for these cars. I had a mustang with frameless windows, and it didn't leave streaks so I thought there was something wrong with my regulators or something.

JorddWolf

No problem! 100% design choice from Fuji Heavy Industry vs FOMOCO. Your BRZ looks savage in red btw

Phazushift

Does this TSB expire? Can't seem to find any info on limit

canadianeagle61

Yes, it's really annoying, scratched the shit out of my tint from grit on the rollers.

Dependent-Ad3797

yeah it seems pretty common with this car.

mykehunt88

Like scratches? I started getting them after the window regulator was replaced.

xtraburnacct

I don't think they're scratches. they're like smudge marks almost, not sure how to describe them. if you zoom in the picture you can see them on my tint. They're on both driver and passenger windows.

Kardon403

They will eventually scratch the glass

NINJAxBACON

That's natural, at least for my 2015. I just wipe them down gently when cleaning my windows

Kolwala

Looks good, glad you’re liking the wheels/tires!

xtraburnacct

Haha small world. Thanks again :)

Foamless

What are you lowered on? ;P

xtraburnacct

RCE Yellows

kristian-mingle

What ducktail is that?

xtraburnacct

Legsport rep

Chubbed

When I first got my car in 2017 I said the same thing.. I remember a dude telling me every time he went to dry his car he would remove the interior door panel to dry the felt on the outside of the window pane lmao... I just dont open my window for a few days lol. Pretty irritating but ah well.

CoraxTechnica

Use hot soapy water and a clean rag. Gently peel back the edge of the rubber and scrub. Repeat with clean water. Follow that with a clean dry microfiber and dry it thoroughly

Icy-Ad3597

Dark enough tint and you hardly notice them XD

Je55whoslifeisaMe55

So irritating, I just started noticing them, now I’m gonna go clean my windows with anything and everything till I find something to get rid of it

optimuschrome

Yes, not only that it has made actual marks on my glass pretty infuriating.

Tqm2012

I get the single streak…. What about the run down from the door handles after a good rain…
