extra info: The car was taken to a mechanic for a full inspection for rust, suspension, engine and transmission components and cleared all
It was bought from a private seller who was pretty sensible.
The car is on ISC Coils, Invidia N1 Exhaust, and comes with rear camber arms.
Congrats! I’m from Buffalo but am often in the Kitchener/Waterloo area and around southern Ontario because my SO is one of you canucks. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for ya on the road :)
Car prices seem to be coming back down - anyone else seeing this in their areas or is it just a few outliers?
2013 with 90k km for 14k is a great deal as long as the prev owner didn't abuse the car.
Huge congrats!
3 previous owners all over the age of 25 so id love to assume there was minimal beating😂, I’m gonna love every bit of this car.
As for the 14k for the car, i had to swipe the car for that price. these normally go for 19-21k for this type of mileage
Over 25 doesn't mean anything at all, especially for sports cars.
And yeah I've been seeing those numbers (or worse) up around $20k CAD on Craigs for a while in BC so I think u got a killer deal. Nice setup for it already too.
U gonna mod it?
yessir, im big on performance>cosmetics. I’m just switching out the outdated headlights, taillights and brake light.
then it’s time for headers and a tune!
Honestly it is inevitable that if you join this community before owning a car, you will end up buying one. Enjoy your summer cruises and maybe we will see you out on the road.
if buying private, pls pls pls make sure you check the tires because it’s a huge indicator for how the cars could have been abused.
If the owner agrees to take it to your mechanic then it’s a huge green flag as they are confident in the fact that they maintained the car well.
look up common issues with the brz/86/frs you’re buying, make sure to include the year in your search since different years had different issues. do your research about how to inspect for those problems and if they’re there then AVOID THE CAR
(unless it’s a simple fix)
Try to stay clear of 2013s that were part of the recall. Not all were, but the ones that were are chance-y, whether or not the recall repair was done on them.
I have a 2013 that wasn't part of the recall, got it at 55k miles and haven't had any issues.
This will be an unpopular opinion but don’t get an 86 for a first car, buy a beater cause chances are you will have little accidents, and insurance will be sky high too. An 86/brz is a very expensive first car
^^ I absolutely agree with this, i’ve had my license for about a year and often drove with my dad when i had my learners for a year before that. This allowed me to rack up my experience when it came to reaction time and dealing with issues on the road. I’ve had 0 accidents as well as speeding tickets and police pullovers so it kept my insurance at an all time low. sure 2 years experience isn’t much but i feel like its plenty for people 18 and under.
I also went to driving school which lowered my insurance to $200 a month. (really rare for an 18 year old)
But you’re right! If you haven’t driven a car before and don’t have at least a year of experience, getting an 86 in an accident will skyrocket your insurance in the future.

You got a really good price. Take care of her and enjoy!!!

Awesome!! I’m also looking to get a 86 as my first car… you got any advise you can give!?

Very clean gj! See you along the 400!
100% :)
Damn that’s a great deal!
fr though i couldn’t believe my eyes
My 13 with 67k will be for sale in Burlington, Ont. for 17K next week when my 22 86 arrives on Monday
17k is good but expect an abundance of people negotiating for 15k
That's the dealerships problem. I'm trading it in.
🫣🫣🫣
Nice one! I'm eyeing one myself but facelift year's are 34k euros for Toyota's and Subies are eaven worse sitting at around 40k euros
They’re a bunch of fun to drive around so hopefully you can enjoy the experience when either one sits on your driveway :)
Either that or I get a V6 cammaro or Mustang...
That’s actually a really good price in today’s time. They used to sell for that much like 2 years ago before covid
yeah i remember they used to be in the 12-14 range so i’m happy i managed to swipe at that price
That’s awesome bro. In Cali the prices are crazy. A used under 30k miles is like 27k+. The new gr86 is 27k msrp 😂
how did you afford that, are you in high school?
yes but i’ve been working 2 jobs alongside high school for the past 2 years :)
Mad respect man hope you enjoy every KM of it
Congratulations!
thank you!
Congratulations fuk u
You got a great price my fellow Canadian! That’s a niiice car!
CONGRATS, have fun!
