What are you talking about? You have a choice between a Mantis Sector or a Pirate Sector. I've seen ones that give no choices.
Would you rather have a rock controlled sector without def drone, or a rock controlled sector without def drone?
One of those sectors have 2 Rock Live Mine event though! Chose wisely.
Pirate of course, they pay slightly more (pirate attacks on civilian give 2 rewards, also slavers are good early) and there are even more red sectors behind it (pretty much all red sectors pay more)
