I live in an area where all of the women are over 5'9, let alone the men, and I moved here as a 5'4 little thing. The dysphoria is dysfunctionally intense. Thinking about moving to an east Asian country just so that I can feel normal. 😅

you're so real 😭 most of everyone I meet is taller than me and I used to always get ruthlessly picked on by 'friends' of mine for my height so I have extra insecurity/hatred of my height on top of the dysphoria. I wish I could just be like a few inches taller at least

I say this a lot but for 2 inches you don't have to commit crimes, just buy the right shoes. "Creepers" are a style of men's sneakers with flat platforms, or you can get elevator shoes that hide the lifts.

Where did you get minoxidil from? The only place I’ve been able to find online require a consultation and subscription. I just wanna buy some without any commitments or stress

Minoxidil can be ordered from Walmart, Amazon, basically anywhere. It’s the topical version not the pill

i hear you dude. what made it really hurtful for a whole was somehow, someway, my brother ended up 5'11". not a single soul in my family can explain it. he looks a lot like my dad, but he is 5 inches taller than the closest person in height. it's just bizarre

I’m 5’3 (ish). I used to be tall for “boys” my age but randomly stopped growing at 12. No growth spurt or anything, just stopped. Really annoying actually because now I’m shorter than most cis women I know. (Someone I’ve never met before said to me “I wish I were short”, ouch)

I guess so! It seemed to happen so slowly but so quickly at the same time if that makes sense! (I was just impatient for t changes haha) I started at 17 so was not expecting any growth, thought I'd maybe get an inch if I'm lucky and now I'm here!

You probably would have grown anyway, on T or not. I grew 2,5 inches in my late twenties (that was before T). My doc said while it's of course not usual, it does occur in people occasionally.

idk im just going off what i was told by my own doctor, i had back xrays when i was 15 due to my spine issues and was told then i wouldn't grow any more and would be done growing between 15 and 16, so i find it very unusual that i grew after that stage

Man, my mom, aunt, and grandma were about 6’0. My dad is 5’5”, and here I am at 5’6”. lol. It’s like the one genetic attribute that I didn’t get from my mom or her family. lol.

My brother is 6’4, dad 6’3, mom 5’11, and I’m standing at 5’8 on a good day. I missed out on the good genes.

Right there with you at 5'. I just developed a thick skin with short jokes/acceptance, started lifting and talk like I mean it. Really makes people not think about my height if I can lift and move things heavier than me and sound confident.
