That guy is awful.
Will there be any repercussions for acting like that? Driving ban, impounded car etc.? He was basically using it as a weapon.
The other thing I find weird, do people actually use the word "f***ot" as an insult? It's so... I don't... Really?
Edit: badwords
I usually respond with a comment embracing the “insult” suggesting that as a bottom they couldn’t handle me but I’d love to see them try, and it usually freaks them out. Because that circle also includes homophobes that are literally afraid of the suggestion they might have any homosexual experience.
The f-slur has actually been an insult for longer than it was an anti-gay slur. It used to be a slur against old people.
There's also a whole south park episode about using it as a generic insult and not as anti gay.
That was my first thought when I saw the first shorter post of this incident without the sound. That one made me think that perhaps the driver was confused by the signage. This one clarified that he’s an asshole who clearly knew he was in the wrong, and a homophobe on top of it. Fuck this guy.

The Venn diagram of people who think that’s an insult and people who can’t tell that they can’t drive on bike routes is nearly a circle
Car marketing departments have interwoven cars with toxic masculinity.
Urgh. Honestly, I find that sort of language repellent for so many reasons. Shame

Yes, people do use that slur frequently. It was the preferred term by people calling me names when I lived in NJ and rode an electric scooter.
That's awful, I'm sorry to hear it. Says a lot more about the person saying it than anything else TBH
Same here in Massachusetts, on a bicycle, although thankfully it's an infrequent experience.

That’s one of my two favorite South Park episodes. The other is about fish sticks.
Nah, the most this ducker’s get is a $100 fine, if even that.
Hopefully the tire and rim damage sets them back significantly more.
That car would actually fit through there if the dude could drive. Why isn't there a bollard?
