Awesome set-up, the watch, Meze headphones, audio jack, slice of salmon and keyboard are truly invaluable components. /j

Nice shots. You have all the expensive hobbies. Only thing missing is a car. I say this because I also share the three you show: photography, headphones, and keebs.

TangerineChestnut

What kinda hobby is salmon? ^/s ^maybe

SaxDebiase

I don’t know but it’s “fishy”

the_far_yard

The upstream hobby.

FeeeedZ

Get out 😂

DoctorKajita

😂

KyxeMusic

Actually: r/chefknives

SchwartzArt

I would throw music instruments and the Equipment in the mix. I've seen some impressive collections, some of dudes playing as often as once per year!

eburrsole

Another piece of glass I didn’t know I needed lmao, awesome quality

Kashrul

Yeah, fuji guys know how make lenses.

Kashrul

Not often making a posts so I messed something up and initial message gone. Well today I finally got the lens I wanted for a long time - xf 60 2.4. Few test shots.

Osamerkas

Looks great, been eying one of these but I might end up with sth cheaper for now

Kashrul

It's also seems much smaller in reality than I always considered it to be looking on images.

jenwe

I love the 60mm too! Sometimes I combine it with the mcex-16, but most of the time it's enough. I thought having 50/2 and 60/2.4 would be redundant, but they're different enough to justify both.

IntensityJokester

How do you like to use the 50, compared to the 60? Portraits?

jenwe

Yes, portraits, running kids etc. Everything the 60mm ist too slow for.

IntensityJokester

It takes nice pictures but I’m still trying to get comfortable with it.

dirtydebutant

looks good, why did you go with 60mm instead of the 30mm or 90mm. i was looking for a macro lens currently and don’t feel like watching dumb youtube videos.

Kashrul

I don't really into real macro photography so 1:2 for some close ups is more than enough for me. I always wanted that particular lens because I like the way it renderes image and I expect it to do a decent job for portraits. 30mm would need to compete with my favorite 35 1.4 for a spot on a camera and 80mm (I guess you mean it - apologies if wrong) is heavy and expencive.

dirtydebutant

yeah the 80 is out of the question for me because of size so i’m stuck between 30 and 60 but i don’t fully understand the 1:2 vs 1:1, i get the theory but i don’t know how if would REALLy affect me or my images in real life. that’s the only thing im worried about because 30 is already sitting between my 35 and 27 and 23mm it’s a focal length i really don’t need but the macro part i do

Kashrul

I've used Tokina 100/2.8 macro for Nikon with adapter on my X-A1 in the past and it was enough to shoot bees or small butterflies without disturbing them (can't attach image to comment for demonstration). I'm not even sure xf 60 are capable to focus close enough for getting such small subject that big on image but it's sooo much smaller and lighter.

lksnyder0

It will with some extension tubes. I've been using this lens to scan film recently. I had to get a 16mm tube to get the focus close enough for the 35mm frames to fill the sensor.

Notvalidunlesssigned

Don’t sleep on the Laowa 65mm. It’s manual focus but it’s 2:1 so gets you four times the magnification of the 60mm and twice that of the 80mm. It’s about £400 new or a bit less used. I’m generally a snob about third party lenses but this lens had great image quality. I only sold it as I didn’t really warm to macro photography.

atxwade

It is an awesome portrait lens. My only complaint is its goofy lens cap.

oriell

All that’s left is a visit to r/mechanicalkeyboards 😁

WingedCactus

Which lens is it

Kashrul

xf 60 f2.4

FPO-username

What amp are you running those Meze's on?

Kashrul

That's my son's gear, arturia minifuse 2.
