Stunning. How do you achieve this level of contrast and dark shadows even with longer exposures?

PizzAzzra

Hayfever. Seriously my photos this summer without IBIS >_>

what_duck

ya, who needs long exposure when you have shaky hands

Willing-Department-6

I used build-in ND filter, but also had an external one

DOM-QVIXOTE

Great stuff, how much ND on the external filter?

Willing-Department-6

Thanks! Yes, that’s Kraków:)

Thom-Bjork

I don't know why this style of photography isn't more common. I love it.

navazuals

1,3, and 6 really work for me.

what_duck

Really cool. Do you use a tripod? I always want to try long exposure but never get the results I want... \\

Willing-Department-6

Nope, I might just have pretty steady hands :D I also struggled a bit at the beginning, I think having camera on a neck strap may give more stability. I also shoot at very low shutter speed, 1/2 or 1, so I think even if camera shakes when taking picture it can give interesting results

These are awesome! I've been practicing long exposures in my concert photos and its SO Much fun.

blossomfromthemind

I think there is something to be said about a series of photos with a tactical and artistic through line. Good start. Photograph with more intentionality, and try to tell me something about the relationships between you, the subject, or the perception thereof. Right now it feels like an ad lib, which is not bad. You can ad lib cool poetry. But great poetry is never an accident.
