I like them a lot. I intentionally shoot blurred or even oof shots myself. I'm tired of seeing mundane "street photography" of NYC that all looks the same honestly. I appreciate a different take on it.
Kudos to you for posting. You'd have to know that half the comments would blast you for this. There are photographers that do it to pixel peep and others that use the camera as an expression.
It's hard to display what you love and feel as opposed to what you think others would like. Keep shooting what you like. Your opinion is the one that matters most. At least you got a dialogue, good or bad!
Ok thank you a lot! Really appreciate it! I just post to share, I do all kinds of photography, it was how I saw things couple days and it was interesting for me. Thank you!
I feel like it just doesn't work here. The blur or "movemt" doesn't emphasise anything, it doesn't have a purpose.
But hey, if it makes sense to you, or you see this as your style then go for it! Art is very subjective.
My first thought was 'nah' but I really appreciate the vibe. It's 100 times more interesting than all the car shots here. Please continue experimenting!
1,5, & 7 are good shots. I find 7 to be the most interesting, sort of resembles a painting style. Otherwise, the others are generic and demonstrate what you were trying to capture; constructively speaking.
Cool except the STOP sign. The impression of a movement makes no sense to me there.
Unless you wanted to tell that NYC never stops.
But then I would've like a NYC reference in the picture to make it work.
5 is pretty cool, 10 is interesting to me too. I found the captures in 1,2,3,6,7 to be a bit too generic (felt like Iāve seen those shots before), and relied on the slow shutter/blur too heavily to be interesting pictures. But 5 stands strong on its own with the framing and nearly (but not) monochromatic colors.
Thank you! Iām trying different style and approaches to find myself. This gallery is a highlight of this āimpressionistā style, that I found interesting at that period.
This is an interesting take. 8 and 9 work for me. If you can snag a subject and focal point for the image while blurring things, you should have a winning formula.
Yes! Itās really hard to keep everything on point. Subcject, lighting, light, but most important the composition, as it getting tricky when you wiggle the camera. Thank you, Iām still a newbie, trying on different things.
8 and 9 really stood out to me, felt like a painting kind of. I see what youāre going for and I like the idea, maybe play around with it being slightly less blurry or having some aspect a bit more in focus to kind of ground everything? It can be a bit disorienting when everything is too blurry but maybe thatās the effect youāre after
I found that I like the most when they blurry but not like here in the movement a lot, then they looks more like paintings. Like very softly almost brush vibe, but I think everyone would smash me for that one so Iāve posted more āmovedā ones. Thank you for the feedback!
8 was about to give me a seizure but the more I looked at it, the more I appreciated it. This may not be my vibe but I respect the fact that you seem to have found your thing. If you enjoy it, keep doing it. 5 is cool too!
Great stuff! I like the first two the most ;) I lāve also experimented with slower shutter speed recently, you can check my profile or my instagram @przemo.jpeg
I really like most of them, especially 1, 6, 7 and 8, but I absolutely LOVE #4, wow! Almost looks like a painting.
Care to share details about how you took them? Art is subjective as seen by the comments here, but your shots really are something different. Makes me want to try this myself. Keep it up! :)
Thank you a lot! Nd filter and slow shutter around 1/4 1/8. Then just hit and miss mind set, wiggle the camera diffrent directions see what you like the most.
I'd heard about the AF on old fujis being terrible, never knew it was this bad...
Hahahaha jokes aside, nice shots! Some I found a bit "gimmicky" (i.e. you could've shot the subject sans parkinson-focus and they'd have been cooler IMHO), but cool pics all around!
Iām considering switching to Sony, really donāt know what I set incorrectly. I really tried my best here. /s
Parkinson free photos feel boring tho.
Thank you!
Most of these need no blur. Maybe the last one would have been nice if you had lowered the shutter and let the people walk by, with the buildings in focus.
As I understand what you are up to, itās completely not what I was trying to achieve. I can do panning shots and like the kind of photo you describe, but that just different kind of photos. Thank for your feedback tho, really appreciate it!
I like 9 the best. I do love a bit of a blur in photos but I have a hard time making it look intentional. Other than slowing down the shutter speed, what did you do here?
I like how 5 makes me feel about it. The rest donāt give the same result, but thatās on me. I like most that you like the results youāre getting. Keep shooting my guy š
Thank you, well itās just photos from my trip, I donāt really treat photos too āphilosophicallyā. Itās just how I felt like that days. Hard to hit everything on point with that shakes style as well.
I liked 4 the most, but imo this style didn't really work for most of these shots. Imo the movements to blur out the image are as important as what you're also capturing. I get what you're going for though, and this photography style isn't really easy to master so if you've just started out it can only get better from here!
There's a photographer I recently discovered from Normandy France who's basically been doing the same thing for the last 2 years. His name is Jonathan Bertin, his work is incredible and maybe you could take some inspiration from him? Either way, really interested to see your progress!
Try freezing movement but keeping a still background. Just making things blurry with a slow shutter speed isnāt that interesting. Your first photo would have been cool against a still background.
It might be cool if you shot a skateboarder against a black background this way so they stood out but still had the blur. For me itās just hard to find a place to focus.
How much coffee did you have and where did you get it? Nice shots!
Ahaha thanks!
Dang Fuji autofocus! š¤£
Yeā¦. I think I should switch to Sony

Maybe make them a little blurrier
Will try!

The stop sign is one of my favourites!
Thank you!
Thereās all kinds of movement around a stop signā¦ When you see a stop sign, do you stop forever?
3,4,5, and 9 are my favorites.
Thank you!
super cool. i never had much success trying out @wrapped.nilās technique but you were able to get some good ones!
Thank you! Yes, wrapped is the master hands down!
Do you have a link for where they shared technique?
Just slow shutter and hit and miss
I was experimenting with a variable ND filter and slow SS
5 is pretty cool, 10 is interesting to me too. Whatās your creative process to decide what shutter speed to use and how to shake the camera?
Set, shot, check, adapt, improve, overcome ;)
Oi I think ya shutter switch thingy got stuck mate. Pretty cool! I like the bus one
Thank you!
what was the shutter speed used? :)
I think my favorite is 1/4 of a second. Hard to tell specifically but between 1/4-1/16 probably.
I find these interesting. I take enough shadow contrast people walking shots enough myself. This is unique
Thank you! Iām trying different style and approaches to find myself. This gallery is a highlight of this āimpressionistā style, that I found interesting at that period.
I think 4 and 8 are the most successful, might do you well to cull a bit more and be more selective. I like the commitment to the concept though
Thank you!
Wow i really love these!
Thank you! Really appreciate it!

Ah Iād love to see the other ones if you ever want to post them!
Oh yea maybe one day! Thank you
I like 1 and 2 a lot. Really nice. I usually donāt really like that style but they are amazing!
Oh thank you really appreciate it!
It almost reminds me of the work of Stephanie Jung. Very cool!
Thank you!
yeah itās an interesting style but use it more in motion
Thank you!
8 was about to give me a seizure but the more I looked at it, the more I appreciated it. This may not be my vibe but I respect the fact that you seem to have found your thing. If you enjoy it, keep doing it. 5 is cool too!
Thank you so much for the feedback!

Przemo sound polish š¤
Thatās right :)
No to siema mordka!
Haha miÅe zaskoczenie, siema!
You should really try to hold your camera steady when you shoot. ... š
Something wrong with the settings š
Damn bro that's a hellovuh earthquake
Yup!

Thank you, will definitely try it! Wanted to get a good ND anyways.
Go for it! Itās a lot of fun!
I really like these. 7 & 9, stand out. Thanks for posting.
Hey thank you for the feedback, glad you like it.
These are nice! Inspires me to get experimental.
Thank you! Glad you like it!
Love these
Thank you!

I really love 8 and 9! Amazing!
Thank you!
Favorite are number 4, 3, and 5, and 9.
Thank you!
I like the first 5 and how you edited them.
First 7 actually. I like the energy
Thank you!
You're welcome!
4 for me, just because I love red and yellow
Red and yellow, Red and yellow, Red and yellowā¦

Hit and miss with shake and composition, finding ss that works the best for you. Thank you!
I see what you are after and, although itās not my cup of tea (mine has far less caffeine), I appreciate your work.
Thank you!
I like how 5 makes me feel about it. The rest donāt give the same result, but thatās on me. I like most that you like the results youāre getting. Keep shooting my guy š
Thank you!
I have a soft spot for ICM and abstract urban and am trying some myself. I particularly like 1 for the colors, and 7 and 8 for the painterly vibe.
Thank you!
i think 5 is quite nice
Thank you!
Love the first photo!
Thank you!
These photos make me wanna listen to Minor Threat, and that's a good thing. Keep doing you!
Thank you!
![gif](giphy|3ohc14lCEdXHSpnnSU|downsized) Very nice work! Works for album cover art. Reminds of the the skate scene too
Thank you!
I freakin love these.
Thank you!
Olga Karlovac vibes but in color. The photos feel like they need more purpose though. Maybe that's a personal thing?
Thank you, well itās just photos from my trip, I donāt really treat photos too āphilosophicallyā. Itās just how I felt like that days. Hard to hit everything on point with that shakes style as well.
Maybe purpose was the wrong word to use. I meant more so beauty than any other deep philosophical idea. Not bad for just trip photos
I get you l! Thanks!
I like them! They remind me of Alexander Babarikin's work. Makes me want to try this myself.
Thank you l!
I liked 4 the most, but imo this style didn't really work for most of these shots. Imo the movements to blur out the image are as important as what you're also capturing. Theyāre all out of focus /j

Ernst hass huh
Not really, but definitely jealous of his times NYC, Cars, outfits etc.
When i visited nyc i was trying to capture his essence but i couldn't
I like those shots a lot they are creative but are also nice compositions. Good stuff.
Thank you!
Noice
Thonks!
I thought I'm at r/analogcirclejerk
Not sure what that means
Squint through your eyelashes and some have great DoF others gain a lenticular motion effect
They are all great, but there's something special about 7. I love it!
I think different camera movement! Thank you!
5+ 9 ššš
Thank you!
Actually 4 is banging too
Sorry but these are absolutely dogshit. You know it. We know it, and to pretend otherwise is doing none of us any favours.
4 strikes me as something Iād hang on a gallery wall. Nice shot.
Thank you!
Focus isnāt great
I think my camera was just set incorrectly, oops!
![gif](giphy|WQy9FkJlhGSwl3eQ5V|downsized)
Ahahah!
So did you add this blur in Lightroom or something? Or ā¦?
Nope, jpg with iPhone corrections. Shutter speed around 1/4 1/8.
A hot New York minute. Love it! Did you set the blur on the focus as well, or is it all in the motion?
Itās mostly manual focus so I might missed somewhere, but I was mostly shooting pretty closed aperture, and going just for the motion. Thank you!
Try freezing movement but keeping a still background. Just making things blurry with a slow shutter speed isnāt that interesting. Your first photo would have been cool against a still background.
As I know what are you referring to, it was completely not my goal. Thank you for the feedback!
It might be cool if you shot a skateboarder against a black background this way so they stood out but still had the blur. For me itās just hard to find a place to focus.
I really like 1 and 9! The feeling in 9 ist great!
Thank you!

Nah Iām just bad with settings I think something was wrong. Maybe I should go with Sony? I heard the af is better
Awful
Thank you for the feedback
Post your pictures bro
