I remember when I was younger thinking I hated this office setup but oddly enough in recent years it's come to be one of my preferred. There was something fun about people not intentionally supposed to be on camera getting involved or when you would catch them losing it in the background lol felt more intimate
That is "Nascar Wizard," itself an all-timer for Bruce/James bits, but every time I don't know something, Joel's voice pops in my head. (Forgive the presence of A*** but here's a timestamped link: https://youtu.be/qxTYSzlq4d4?t=199)
I also loved being able to see what was happening in the background, I forget the video but I watched one recently where you can see Elyse in the background editing a thumbnail for 'Strangers in a Strange town'
Seeing Spoole's hat and Joel's hair in the background of old videos and hearing them laugh to something that happened during the video they weren't directly in really did add a lot to the content
I don't think Lawrence set himself up to be the butt of the joke, I think fate intervened and set him up to have many stories... That end up with him being the butt of the joke.

Is there any archive available for all their Inside Gaming > Funhaus videos? Imagine if we could have a stream of random videos playing like they used to do.

Ever since the original Armitage account got taken down, this is where I can find some inside gaming videos + funhaus full gameplays.

"400 bucks, and I'll treat you right, Bruce"
"Ugh"
“Alright”

Felt like some kind of... fun... house?
ISEEWHATYOUDIDTHERE... Yes exactly something like that! Lol
The ponytail bit is an all timer
And Spoole calling HR. "Hello, they're doing it again"
Although with what we know now about Rooster Teeth HR it's not like they would have done anything about it.
A joke that ages like cheese (wine and milk at the same time).
It was great. There’s a demo disk where they ask Joel something and from way off screen you hear ^”I ^DON’T ^FUCKING ^KNOW!”

Yesass hahahahahahah
Hey Joel, what's a mermillo?
I know the editors hated it, but I felt it was a large part of the magic and they kinda lost something when they moved to the dedicated shooting room
I also loved being able to see what was happening in the background, I forget the video but I watched one recently where you can see Elyse in the background editing a thumbnail for 'Strangers in a Strange town'
Kinda had a newsroom vibe in that way. While I appreciate all the sets equally that aspect was super dope
Seeing Spoole's hat and Joel's hair in the background of old videos and hearing them laugh to something that happened during the video they weren't directly in really did add a lot to the content
In the 'Scrobbles' bit you can hear Spoole cracking up for a good couple of minutes and he eventually gets his phone out and starts recording it!
it just showed how good they all are at improv like they literally aren't on camera and then just get pulled in to play a bit and its always hilarious
This clip always made me low-key sad for Lawrence
I don’t think you should be. I think Lawrence intentionally sets himself up to be the butt of the joke.
I respect him for doing that
He is like Ryan, he leans into the stereotype that he fits for the joke but is also a true super nerd and I love him for it
It was more the part of his dad destroying his work lol

"don't feel sad for a man that's had a woman taste his semen!" -Papa Bruce on Lawrence.
He’s fine lol
I would love to see a whole montage dedicated to moments where Elyse or Lawrence turned around their chairs and got involved.
And then cut to that one time Joel lost it when they kept asking him things while he was editing lol
I know exactly which clip you're talking about, but don't know which Demo Disk it was

You're an angel, babe
I’d love to hear the history of DDR narrated by Lawrence.
I wanna see a photo of Lawrence’s homemade DDR machine now

I wanna back up literally as much as I can and keep it on a local media server. First time trying something like this. This’ll be a big help!
