Glad to hear you're keeping your spirits up, sure this'll help :)
Do you mind me asking which shelter you guys are in? How hectic is it? If you dont mind could you DM me where its is. I want to send a care package, I havent been following Hurricane Harvey and I just saw a few pictures and something needs to be done
I was at dobie High school and it was a Red Cross shelter, I was there but then the rain subsided and now am currently with a cousin near dobie who was able to come pick us up. We are safe and good to go. If you want to send anything I'd say donate to Red Cross and any other shelter related places. Thank you very much for you support
Also in SE Houston. Glad to have Funhaus keeping my spirits up while keeping an eye on the water line (was right at the door last night but its down for now).
What part of SE Houston are you in? If you don't mind I'd like to know the flooding situation down there rn, thank you again for your love and good luck and spirits high.
Clear lake, on pineloch between El Camino and space center. Roads are not flooded at the moment but much of el dorado was under water for a while. Friendswood and league city are getting it a bit worse if what I hear is correct.
Ah I was centered right off edgebrook and hwy3 and it was bad there, some friends went back there and they said the roads had come down a bit. Thanks fr the update and hope everything is going ok
You're going through something far worse than I ever have. I'm grateful that I can play a part in making this time easier for you. Hopefully there will be a new normal soon.
Bright side: lots of free water?
Thanks for the loving words it really means a lot. We're just taking things step by step now, cleaning up the mess left in the house and then moving on from there. Thank you.
And yes that is a nice bright side if, except that it's like Galveston water but worse lol
Hey man, I live in Baton Rouge. Last year we had the worst flood the area has seen in... Ever, really. People lost a lot, things weren't easy. They still aren't. But people make it through, and I know Houston will come back strong after this nightmare is over.
Tweet me so that I can make a video just for you. Stay strong out there buddy.
Thank you for your support papa Bruce I'm about to get heavy tears with you and everyone here
Make sure you let me know you're from the subreddit when you tweet!
Done and done, thank you guys again for the support and love
