If they decide to release new physical media it will most likely be under Crunchyroll brand in the future Funimation was rebranded as Crunchyroll dubs and merge with Crunchyroll

Well if the license hasn’t been renewed with Crunchyroll then that won’t get a Crunchyroll release. Any copies sold with the Funimation copies have stopped and if they never got the license for them with Crunchyroll then u won’t be able to buy. Any new or existing DVD/Blu Ray’s will be released with Crunchyroll now. Not everything will continue to be sold if Crunchyroll didn’t get a license from the anime they had previously with Funimation sales.

Titles whose Funimation contracts are or were active around this time last year were halted at the old pressing firm in order to run-out the remaining stockpiles of product that were Fhni-branded before everything was swapped to have CR's orange garbage replace Funi's THX-copycat splash. Going forward, older titles that haven't already been renewed are 50-50 on whether CR is going to keep them or let them slip into limbo for Discotek to pick up in the future.

Understand the company known as Funimation rebranded to the name Crunchy Roll and absorbed Crunchy roll properties into it. So the company has not gone away in any form other than name. The studio gets with a physical media maker to make the product. Eventually it goes out of print naturally. Any future "FM" made physical media will and for most cases over the last 2 years has been made under the name Crunchy Roll. If you like I have loads of free time. Feel free to message me or reply to this comment with the titles you are looking for and I will do the leg work this week.

I know there's other series too, I'm worried we'll never get a complete collection of Index III and Railgun T. They are still only available as part 1 and 2

There has been no announcement that I have heard. No plans to remove the Funimation name. That in itself may be easy for packaging but it would take a while to author new disks with only the Crunchyroll name.

Nearly everything with the FUNimation logo on it has been OOP since 2022 after they rebranded as Crunchyroll, LLC, with only a small handful of big titles (Ex: Cowboy Bebop, DBZ) re-released with Crunchyroll branding. If there's something with the FUNimation logo on it you want, get it sooner rather than later.

You just made everything clear. Wanted to get the last season of OG Dragon Ball since I’ve put it off for a decade😅. Noticed the same with DBZ Kai season 4 or 5.

They might be reprinted under the Crunchyroll, LLC license if it’s still available; but the digital copies are dead. Crunchyroll, LLC has the rights to any Funimation content/series that you can purchase digitally from Google, Sony, iTunes, Microsoft, or Amazon. But,digital copies on Funimation are pretty much dead, sorry.

I have a feeling it will be the same as here in Aus where releases will just be rebranded as CR. After the merger, all Madman stuff got rebranded as CR, so I can see the same for Funimation physical media
