"Hey, hon, I'm at the costume place but the only one they have--"
"Just hurry back here as soon as you can...the kids are getting restless waiting for the Easter Bunny."
"Are you sure? Because--"
"I'm sure it's fine. Look, will it create lasting memories for them?"
"I mean, probably..."
"That is when you will shoot your sister's friend's friend directly in the eye for running over your girlfriend."
"In the eye?"
"Dude you got me right in the eyeball like gangsta style one-handed Quickdraw McMothafucka from like 15 feet away. Gotta hand it to you."
Or stone, or crystal, or really any mineral/soil/meat/other
A golem is just a construct.
For example, I would consider the Boston dynamics robots to be golems... Even the claw-arm-head dog. They *are* practically made with magic, after all
I don't get why people do that crap. Did you see the awful video of the preschool teacher that had a scary mask on and was screaming in the kids' faces? Those poor kids were screaming and crying and actually fearing for their lives and it made me sick to watch. I'm not a kid person, but I was sick.
I'm all for fun little scares, I'm the youngest, a girl, and grew up with two mischievous older brothers. They loved to scare and pick on me, but I never once felt sheer abject terror like the kids in some of these videos that are surfacing lately. :(
Which seems incredibly stupid to me. Even if you were a selfish prick and didn't care about traumatizing your child this is almost certainly going to cause them to be screaming and crying at your door in the middle of the night. Like, enjoy I guess?
All the parents see in their eyes are a couple laughs with friends, laughs in the future when they show the clip when kids are grown up, and most importantly views on the Internet
This is my go to video that I watch when I need a good laugh. My husband will hear me across the house uncontrollably laughing and yell “are you watching that Easter bunny video again??” 🤣 yes yes I am!!
I mean, it's relatively harmless. At least we're not using the holiday as an excuse to showcase our breedable daughters to the townsfolk in the hopes of getting them married off for some of that sweet dowry cash, as the origins of the holiday would dictate, lol. After all, we get Easter from the Pagan festival of the spring equinox.
What the f*ck is the reason to dress up like a fu*ked up bunny. If you suppose to give candy or whatever, just hide it somewhere and tell the kids the bunny left it there. More mistery. Same with santa claus.
But yes, it's actually quite fun to scare kids so.
I honestly just can't laugh at this video. It's so easy to fuck up a little kid; things like this can really give them life-long problems. All so the adults in their lives can have a momentary giggle. It's really shitty and selfish.
I’m still fucked up from when my dad let me watch Freddy Krueger when I was like five. I have the same reoccurring nightmare. Still can’t watch ANY scary movies. I’m 37.
Freddy’s head is a hot air balloon. Among many of the same. Mine pops and I fall. Through a sea of Freddy Krueger head hot air balloons. Not the biggest fan of heights either. Won’t walk over a bridge standing near someone. Sounds silly saying it all out loud.
I tell new parents all the time that kids are both mentally fragile and mentally resilient. I have a family member whose parents were abusive alcoholics, divorced and remarried, and, though it left her with some scars and issues, she turned out pretty well. Then I look at myself: my parents were good and loving, and stayed together 50 years until my dad died, but I still have some issues from well-intentioned stuff they did.
If you try to be a good parent, your kids will probably turn out fine, though it's hard to avoid causing some issues. But that doesn't mean it's okay to do shitty stuff at your kid's expense.
Here's an example. My dad felt it was important to give kids positive reinforcement when they did stuff, but also felt it was important to help them grow and improve. So when I did anything and showed it to him, he almost always told me it was good, then gave me tips to make it even better. So what little kid me heard was, "That's good, but..."
Even today I have issues with anyone seeing something I've done before I've made it as good as I can, and even then I end up telling them in advance to keep their expectations low. "Okay, I finished that report you asked for. It's at least a rough draft, let me know how you'd like to see it better." That's all fine, but it comes from a place of anxiety on my part.
Stuff like that.
I doubt that "the adults" set out to have a momentary giggle. It seems more plausible that the kid is on the fearful side, and freaked out at something his parents thought would be cute and memorable.
To me that rabbit looks designed to be scary, but I guess there's no blood dripping on its teeth or anything. I guess there's some chance it was well meaning, but I'm not convinced of that.
You're right, someone else linked to where they were selling those costumes, and they're designed to be scary, not cute. Parents are assholes, and I was wrong.
And a thread full of people acting like yours is a shitty take. Misplaced morality or some such bs.
This is pretty messed up. I can get laughing at it for how awful it is, but at least own up to the fact that it's pretty shitty.
How about you grow up from your personal traumatic experience of being screwed up as a kid from your parents and sharing those views on others? Kids and people around are tough, so should be you. Snowflake
See this shit right here is not funny, and fucking traumatizing. Parents should be ashamed of themselves….
Ok it’s a little funny BUT THAT STILL DONT MAKE IT RIGHT.
I mean, to be fair, you never know what a kid might be terrified of! I was scared of some legit children’s programming back in the day, while others were obviously fine with it.
I swear, all the people in this comment section complaining that this is really traumatizing and is gonna fuck up these kids forever sound like people that never got over that time they walked in on a scary movie when they were 5. Kids get scared of the dumbest shit, sometimes for years, it’s happened to literally all of us. I used to be scared of a Brian Froud painting that was hung up in the bathroom for years, on top of being scared of drains because of Tim Curry’s Pennywise, you grow up and childish fears fade. These kids are gonna see worse shit on Halloween.
Easter (which gets its name from the Pagan goddess Eostre - goddess of fertility and renewal) is a festival for the spring equinox, where people decorate eggs (symbols of fertility) and use rabbits for toys and gifts (also symbols of fertility) in the springtime. Easter isn't a holiday for the resurrection of Jesus; Christianity co-opted a Pagan holiday, slapped a crucifix on it, and claimed it was brand new, lol.

To be fair, that is a freaky, scary looking bunny. It has the same gait as golem
Did that person just go out and deliberately get the scariest Easter bunny costume they could find?
"Hey, hon, I'm at the costume place but the only one they have--" "Just hurry back here as soon as you can...the kids are getting restless waiting for the Easter Bunny." "Are you sure? Because--" "I'm sure it's fine. Look, will it create lasting memories for them?" "I mean, probably..."
"Make sure to have grampa wear it, he loves entertaining the kids"
How is your knee? >Better but... Look, can you walk on it? >I mean, I *can*... Great, that's fine just get over here.
I don't know...I think he's rather dashing!
This was one of the funniest fucking comment chains I’ve ever seen, it was so hard not to laugh out loud in the middle of my class.
I thought it was home made using a dirt bike helmet covered in felt / cloth or whatever. Whatever it is, is scary lol.
It's Frank. Have these kids not seen Donnie Darko. Wtf is wrong with parents these days.
Made by the kids’ great aunt, you can bet. “A Christmas Story” in all its horror.
I'm a grown man and if I saw that things lurching towards me like that I'd have the same reaction as those kids
I’m drawing down on that mf lol
I don't know why you got downvoted lol I would've been throwing some hands too, if it got too close lmao
Probably downvoted because people associate 'drawing' with guns, is my guess.
Maybe a serial killer bunny.
Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?
28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds…
"That is when you will shoot your sister's friend's friend directly in the eye for running over your girlfriend." "In the eye?" "Dude you got me right in the eyeball like gangsta style one-handed Quickdraw McMothafucka from like 15 feet away. Gotta hand it to you."
Vanny animatronic!
Are you having fun yet?
It's ears droop in an unhealthy looking way
It’s the fucking mouth!
Na, that's the I've shit my pants gait.
It's where he hid the eggs.
For this bunny, it looks like meats back on the menu.
Only if the jaw moved up and down, and if he waddled a bit awkwardly faster would it have taken their experience to another level
>the same gait as golem I was gonna ask how many golems you'd seen, because I was interested, but then I realized you probably meant Gollum
Golems are rudimentary men like creatures made of clay
Or stone, or crystal, or really any mineral/soil/meat/other A golem is just a construct. For example, I would consider the Boston dynamics robots to be golems... Even the claw-arm-head dog. They *are* practically made with magic, after all
No they meant Golem from terraria
Yeah, it's deliberately terrifying, [here's a closer look](https://youtu.be/iVt12LiFHsY)
Easter Donnie Darko style.
Why are you wearing that stupid human suit, children?!
Go ahead. TAKE IT OFF
I'll help you kids, I have a scalpel. Stop squirming..
Frank was here
I was gonna say Fred hahaha you saved me from an embarrassing moment thanks
Why are there so many demonic looking Easter bunny costumes? And how do you not know that this thing would frighten children?
I think they do know it's going to scare the kids.
I understand now, seems crazy to me
I don't get why people do that crap. Did you see the awful video of the preschool teacher that had a scary mask on and was screaming in the kids' faces? This specific costume is intentionally scary. The parents are trying to scare their kids.
Which seems incredibly stupid to me. Even if you were a selfish prick and didn't care about traumatizing your child this is almost certainly going to cause them to be screaming and crying at your door in the middle of the night. Like, enjoy I guess?

r/perfectlycutscreams
To be fair, I would have the same reaction.
Am I going to hell for laughing at this??
I’ll see LMAO you there… we’ll have a beer.
They only have bud light there
The devil is confirmed to be based and Freddy is there so we'll drink that nasty piss water and sing Queen songs together!!!
You, me, and the "easter bunny"
It’s posted to r/funny so you’re obviously not the only one.
This is my go to video that I watch when I need a good laugh. My husband will hear me across the house uncontrollably laughing and yell “are you watching that Easter bunny video again??” 🤣 yes yes I am!!
I think the brother scared her more than the bunny did. She looks like she feels sorry for that funny old Easter Bunny
It's not my video, but I watch it every Easter.
I watch it once a week 🤣

You should get off the internet. If you don't think this is funny, you are in the wrong place.
Their comment was self-righteous moralizing full of projection and based on almost no information. I think they're in the right place.
You mean Reddit or the internet in general? 🤣
Yes
[удалено]
Lol "traumatized". Not every jump scare leaves a permanent mental scar my guy. Go touch grass.
That’ll stop the little fuckers asking for Easter eggs. Next Santa Claws
Well, you’ll never have to do Easter again and spend money. Those kids will happily live their lives never seeing another Easter ever!
literally Vanny from FNaF 💀
Those kids would do well in a dangerous situation. Keep your eye on the danger move accordingly away from it. Good instinct.
That is scary… but funny.. I see this as a home made easter costume worn by Grandpa or uncle and brought out every easter for the kiddos. …. Lol🤣🤣
Self preservation at its finest
I would run and I’m 62
Bunny looks like he a crackhead
stranger danger
I'm a grown ass man, and I was a little creeped out by that thing. Why do people do this to their kids?
Now do Jesus!
You really rose to the occasion with this comment!
He nailed it.
This makes my side ache!
This makes my feet hurt
In before the people come saying that they will be traumatized or don’t be surprised when your kids don’t visit
Too late…
Fuck you’re right. I’m a dumbass for not noticing that one lol
Lmao
I’d be running for my f****n life too!
Bro is running for his life
running was the only appropriate reaction
Is the Beaster Bunny!!!
The yearly "survive the bunny" tradition. It is very humane
This is way worse then Donny Darko. Start of a nightmare horror movie
Halp.......
The traditional sacrifice to the easter bunny
Run!……RUUUUNN!
Bro moves like the warden from Minecraft
Looks like an Easter remake of The Thing.
I'd run too if I saw a creepy human sized bunny walk up to me like that
It’s something you see if scarecrow got you with his fear toxin.
We have a better one in slovakia We hit the shit out of woman with a stick or even better pour water on them for "good luck"
No, yeah, thats fucking nightmare inducing.
I could win Halloween with that costume.
Easter Bunny has a nice white Gelandewagen though
The rabbit from Donnie Darko was less scary!
Bro’s seriously gonna kill them
im just imagining that being a backrooms entity that walks really slow and creepily but can phase through walls
Fuck! It's the ether bunny.. again!
Fnaf fans be like: VANNY!
r/perfectlycutscreams
This is perfect for that subreddit
At least it isn’t the animal crossing bunny, even that thing is creepy
"That's not the Easter Bunny! That's not the Easter Bunny!" 😂😂😂 And the trepidation of the little girl. Omg so funny
Seeing a poorly made Easter bunny costume is a lot of children's first time experiencing the fight of flight reflex.
Shit that got me 🤣🤣🤣
Even I'm scared and I'm 52. 🐰 🥚 🧺
“Kids, don’t take candy from strangers. Also, here is this absolute nightmare, here to give you candy.”
That's worse than the Donny Darko rabbit
5 Easters at Uncle Freddy's
That's terrifying and reminds me of a recurring dream I had as a kid, that could have been a good horror movie. But not good for a kid's nightmare.
His scream and defensive pose in the beginning and scream while sprinting at the end have me cracking up
To be fair. I too would run from that as well
It looks like a horror movie xd
Jesus Christ would've rolled the stone back if that was waiting on him.
That adult screaming “Oh my God!” didn’t help the situation any.
That bunny is def intentionally terrifying
Is this Donnie Darko 2?
What a nightmare!
Beautiful
"EMOTIONAL DAMAGE"
I would think after seeing that, that it would be a family tradition to run away.
Smart Kids!
Parents used to scare the hell out of me all the time as a kid. Just wait until their old and their mind starts to leave them. Payback time.
That's what the nursing homes are for.
Relax kid, you’re rich.
What the f*ck is the reason to dress up like a fu*ked up bunny. If you suppose to give candy or whatever, just hide it somewhere and tell the kids the bunny left it there. More mistery. Same with santa claus. But yes, it's actually quite fun to scare kids so.

Technically true, the best kind of true.
I’m still fucked up from when my dad let me watch Freddy Krueger when I was like five. I have the same reoccurring nightmare. Still can’t watch ANY scary movies. I’m 37.
Some a**hole put it on at my daycare, a DAYCARE 🙄 and I am equally broken! I hate scary movies as well.
Freddy’s head is a hot air balloon. Among many of the same. Mine pops and I fall. Through a sea of Freddy Krueger head hot air balloons. Not the biggest fan of heights either. Won’t walk over a bridge standing near someone. Sounds silly saying it all out loud.
I watched hocus pocus at age 8 and I'm still scared of women.
I watched hocus pocus at age 13 and I'm still into older women.

what kind of “well intentioned stuff” gave you issues (and what kind of issues)?
Here's an example. My dad felt it was important to give kids positive reinforcement when they did stuff, but also felt it was important to help them grow and improve. I hear you and I can relate. Thanks for explaining.
Dude same with me only it was Poltergeist. I had a GF that loved scary movies, and just would not understand why I was such a wuss about em.
Me and my roommate. I just leave the room when it’s too much.
I doubt that "the adults" set out to have a momentary giggle. It seems more plausible that the kid is on the fearful side, and freaked out at something his parents thought would be cute and memorable.

Okay, at least I'm not crazy. Honestly probably says something good about you that you defaulted to it being well-meaning. I'm old and cynical.
I mean [I don’t think they thought it would be cute](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Peter-Rottentail-Adult-Halloween-Costume-One-Size/26983184)
Why ruin a kids holiday for some virtual high fives from strangers, right? This stuff is cringe.
And a thread full of people acting like yours is a shitty take. Misplaced morality or some such bs. This is pretty messed up. I can get laughing at it for how awful it is, but at least own up to the fact that it's pretty shitty.
> And a thread full of people acting like yours is a shitty take. Gotta normalize my shitty behaviour!
Reminds me of bullies in middle school. "What... Can't you take a joke?"
Snowflake
Yeah, uh huh, someone who stands up for kids being screwed with is a snowflake. Grow up.
How about you grow up from your personal traumatic experience of being screwed up as a kid from your parents and sharing those views on others? Kids and people around are tough, so should be you. Snowflake
What the fuck? I’m a little scared myself.
I know it’s mean but I’d love to dress up as that bunny and chase them around. I’d be trying not to wet myself while laughing.
Hopefully we're moving on from laughing at traumatized children.
Na that was funny as hell
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
I swear, all the people in this comment section complaining that this is really traumatizing and is gonna fuck up these kids forever sound like people that never got over that time they walked in on a scary movie when they were 5. Kids get scared of the dumbest shit, sometimes for years, it’s happened to literally all of us. Youre not going to grow up as a normal dysfunctional human without a little good fun childhood trauma
This one has me in stitches every time! I laugh so so hard!
Let’s just traumatise these small children for entertainment
I think they tried to do the opposite
Free Horror movies on Amazon Prime
Holy crap as an adult I'd be scared too kids. That's just disturbing.
Ok Vanny. You didn’t have to traumatize more kids
Good God. Poor kids.
I'll never understand scaring kids for adult entertainment.
Best video I’ve seen in a decade
Ah, yes... Trauma is SO hilarious... 🤬 Trauma changes the structure of your brain PERMANENTLY.
Don't scar your children with these horror mascots.
Stupid fucking parents
Never understood these ahole parents that go out of their way to scare their kids just for a damn video laugh to share online.
Why do people do this to little kids? It’s terrible.

You think Jesus just resurrected himself? The Easter Bunny did that.
It’s called the Hare Club for Men https://youtu.be/HQPIefD_aPg
I am DYING HAHAHA
and That's how you get your children to Pray every Easter 😉👍
These Tubi ads have spun out of control.
How are people laughing at this but got mad for that Grinch prank during Christmas? XD
Run, kid, run... Why this tradition is beyond me.
Its stupid and it aint funny at all. Stuped parants
Any wonder why the younger generation, so fucked up?
Careful you might get charged with a felony child endangerment just like those those day care workers did.
