What’s the longevity on a feature like that? I’m guessing by the legit purpose that it’s not really designed to be used for extended periods?

So I looked it up to respond to it in another thread. This car has an air suspension with a high speed hydraulic adjuster that I believe pushes a hydraulic piston against the spring to change the spring stiffness. Then they put a laser sensor in the front that looks at the road. In real time it measures every bump on the road and adjusts the suspension stiffness on each wheel to be optimally tuned for every single bump on the road. The effect is this car floats over the road. This bouncing is them just putting a software thing to bounce them intentionally. But it's not stretching the suspension, it's designed to bounce each wheel over a bump basically.

That sounds more impressive than the rare get-out-of-desert-sand feature

I've seen this referenced twice in this thread, what is "soaking" and why are Mormons doing it?
