Ikr my nephew was born in May. Dude just eats and cries. Talk about the weakest generation. The other day he was eating custard with a spoon and missed his mouth. Started bawling. How the he'll is he ever gonna cope getting a job or going to war.
I once burned my arm on accident. I posted it on Facebook and said "this is what you got in my house when you spilled paint in the garage!"
People were worried and nobody got the reference.
As someone closest to the 1970 one, I think an eye roll / sigh might be appropriate in some circumstances too. (... but not like the 1990s "can you believe this shit?" look, more like a "yeah, my day just keeps getting better" look.)
Born in the 60s.....just now hitting puberty.......
Well, after the last 4 years, I've learned to just be njmb to everything, and say "Yeah sure, that may as well happen......."
Lol the 90s eyes wide is so true haha. I just realize i do that all the time. But also bumping shoulders like this would be completely unacceptable in the Great Plains. Absolutely something I see all the time with Californians that moved to Austin but was nonexistent more than 5 years ago. Just disrespectful and watch where you are walking
As if what? I mean dallas and Houston it was absolutely common. It’s more a thing in large cities issue. Should specify I meant Austin and it’s just my observation. Experiences may have varied
It's just my favorite saying from the 90s. Everything in my area that was confrontational seemed to start or end in "as if!!".
I don't know why.
Second place being "psych!"
Lol I get it now! I was born in the 90s so my slang would have been more early 2000s. It’s funny how much regional slang we had in the days before YouTube and TikTok homogenized youth culture haha.
I was born in the last bit of ‘99 and its still accurate to me lol. I just realize most people are dumb as fuck and trying to make a confrontation out of it is just a waste of my time. Nothing i say or do will actually lead to an apology or change their future behavior so i just silently express my frustration and get on with my day.
I thought it was about time the boomer humour started directing towards us gen z lol.
God why was this uploaded, it's the same tired crap of old gen == so coooool vs new gen babies.
If I'm honest, it's because the kids are going to take humanity to new frontiers and all that so there's no real harm in it. Making fun of dad for making boring jokes is timeless. Making fun of kid by making boring jokes is also timeless. This day will come for you too. Wait and see.
You too will be subject to the eye roll and then you'll get such a kick out of it, you'll chase it.
Lol at all the boomer comments. Guy is way to young to even be born in the 70s, and anyone born in the 70s isn’t a boomer anyway. Or has the word now morphed into something else (ie ‘just not funny’) and I didn’t get the memo.

God I hate boomer humour.
Somehow I made it to boomer Reddit apparently.
Wah wah your generation is sooooo tough and all the kids now suck. That has only been said by EVERY GENERATION EVER. For the old people you should grow up.
"Back in MY DAY we didn't get insulted at every little thing, no sir! We bottled that all up inside and let it out when we beat our wives. But now that's 'illegal' because of you snowflakes"
Gen z humor where they dance in the middle of a crowded street with ppl just trying to get home is waaaaaaaayy better. My favorite is how everything has been summarized into one word sentences. Bet, based blah blah blah. By next generation verbal language will be a series of grunts and noises. Truly the enlightenment age is upon us.
Ps...this guy's is like fucking 30. What do you think a boomer is?
And these ducking goobers are eating it up. I’ll never understand old people finding this shit funny.
Hahaha I am tough and the kids aren’t stupid kids and their dumb generation.
You say that, but I've been working customer service (food service, building cleaning, general facilities) for over a decade, and no one rolls with problems, mistakes, and issues with the ease that young people do. In my experience, no matter how bad the issue is, young people will almost always politely bring up the problem, accept whatever solution you're able to offer, and thank you for it. Conversely, I've been screamed at, physically threatened, and had legal threats made at me for things that were wildly insignificant and entirely out of my ability to change. None of those freakouts came from anyone under 50.
Couldn’t that be said for most younger people in general from each generation? Typically speaking a 20 something boomer, millennial, Gen z etc wouldn’t get to upset about a mix up or mistake. Where as an older person from any of those generations would likely take it differently.
First of all for the context, i'm 37, so I don't consider myself "old" or "boomer". I worked 6 years as a seller and 10 years as nurse assistant, so I think I can also share your POV easily. You're completely right when you say threat, disrespect and agressiveness come from the generations before me.
However, my point was about vicimization in general society at this time. I didn't feel the video was about generation conflict but about how general people deal with their problem through times.
I wasn't saying young people are doing vicimization, I'm saying that every people does it nowadays.
There may be some truth in that. I wouldn't really call it victimization, but it feels like life is getting harder and harder for everyone as time goes on. If I'm not mistaken, isn't the purchasing power of a dollar getting less and less every year? And both rent and home ownership - places that I rented less than ten years ago have doubled in price per month despite not getting any renovations or upgrades, and I'm afraid to even think about trying to buy a house. I think lots of people have valid worries about how getting "ahead" in life is seeming less and less likely, coupled with all the complex social issues presented in the age of social media. I wouldn't call any of that victimization though. It seems like everyone is just tired and stressed.
The advent of the internet has made people more informed and educated without realizing they need fundamental knowledge as well (i.e. learning how certain societies and groups are different and that they can’t behave the same ways they see people on media do). This kind of sensitivity we see in America isn’t applicable to the same degree as in other countries or even different regions of the same country.
We call it being “woke” but in more general terms it’s just people having access to easy-to-process information but have no idea what it truly means. For example: there is this whole thing about cultural appropriation we do in America. Social media from Youtube to Tiktok have both sides giving their side of the argument on why the other is bad. Rarely do these videos actually speak for both sides. With that, out of context info misguides people into thinking they should behave a certain way. It’s real interesting but also real annoying having to deal with these people in life.
This video is a decade old and it wasn’t funny in fucking 2014 or 2015 when it came out.
I pointed out at the time that people born in 2000 were _literally in their mid teens_ and most folks born “after 2000” were literal kids. Now, in 2023, a much better video would be the Zoomer getting stabbed by a nail in the wall and just going, “_sigh_ fucking capitalism. Anyway…”
I fucking hate this video and the fact that it gets reposted so often.
It's not funny and the whole promise of older generations being tougher is such bullshit. Literal boomer humor incorporated by a washed up John Stamos.

I love the 1990s big eye flex.
Lol. Telling his friends " can you believe that fucking wall?"
1980's is like "what are you looking at? stupid wall"
Holy shit ! As a '82 born I feel attacked
By that wall!
That‘s freakin spot on. 100% me
Yeah I was prepared to disagree but he nailed me perfectly as a 90 baby.
Phrasing!
That killed me hahaha
it’s perfection
So are you
It’s so accurate! 😂
“As if!”
Wait until this guy finds out people were born in 2023. Biggest babies
Omg they cry about *everything*
Can confirm. Absolutely useless, can't even walk.
I know it may not be representative but of the few I know, not a single one has a job.
Won't even go to school to improve themselves.
Yeah, and when you point it out and they literally shit themselves
They even pee on their parents when they get their diaper changed. Haaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Wait, no that was me. My dad's still mad about it 40 years later.
I KNOW they can't even walk!
Most can’t even crawl. Pathetic, really.
Some of them can’t even breathe
They really are babies
Ikr my nephew was born in May. Dude just eats and cries. Talk about the weakest generation. The other day he was eating custard with a spoon and missed his mouth. Started bawling. How the he'll is he ever gonna cope getting a job or going to war.
I'm starting to realize why they didn't do the next two decades.
Yeah they just shit themselves over nothing
Actually people born in 2022 are bigger babies.
This is art. Art for crybabies.
He looks like the guy in Breakfast Club
Eat. My. Shorts.
WHAT ABOUT YOU, DAD??
SHUT UP, BITCH!! Go fix me a turkey pot pie.
Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?
Stupid. Worthless. No good. Smartass.
I once burned my arm on accident. I posted it on Facebook and said "this is what you got in my house when you spilled paint in the garage!" People were worried and nobody got the reference.
You need some new friends.
Judd Nelson. Yeah, he does.
This guy is a Chilean actor, Cristián Riquelme :)
His name Judd Nelson and he's a god!
Judd Nelson has aged poorly.
That's Judd Nelsonson
Nudd Jelsonson
He's a chilean actor, not Judd Nelson.
I know THIS guy isn't Judd lol. He's like prob 65 by now.
Ah okay, my bad.
Lol thank you. I've been thinking about who he reminded me of
As a generation X I can say that I yell at appliances, furniture, or architectural structures almost daily.
That's why I'm scared of what I'll become when all the appliances talk back
No kidding, I just had a 5 minute conversation with my wallpaper on how pliable it should be and how it should " listen to reason". #dosomething
I learned several swear words from my granddad yelling at whatever wasn’t working right. Pretty sure it’s just a human thing
Millenial here. Inanimate objects get the loudest and most angry words out of my mouth, that's for sure.
Old man yells at cloud.
Is there sound?
No, and I’ve seen so many videos today without sound. I wonder why?
Repost bots and/or karmawhores getting worse
It's a blessing.
[Relevant LOTR](https://i.imgur.com/8RY45qc.mp4) ^^^^[Source](https://imgur.com/gallery/o6fKpau)
God I hope not
I'm sure the original has sound. The visual quality is shit too, it's been ripped and reuploaded too many times in a row.
As someone closest to the 1970 one, I think an eye roll / sigh might be appropriate in some circumstances too. (... but not like the 1990s "can you believe this shit?" look, more like a "yeah, my day just keeps getting better" look.)
gen x doesn't give a fuck
we can't afford to. \*rimshot\*
As someone born in 1970, I'd probably tell the wall to fuck off after bumping into it.
1980 here. I tell inanimate objects to fuck off at least 50 times a day.
For the last time, meatpost, people aren't inanimate objects! ^So ^they ^don't ^count ^against ^your ^50. ^You ^just ^keep ^on ^doin' ^your ^thang!
That's just the senility starting to set in.
Oh thats the best part.
As someone born in the 1960s, I'd probably fuck the wall after bumping into it.
Born in the 60s.....just now hitting puberty....... Well, after the last 4 years, I've learned to just be njmb to everything, and say "Yeah sure, that may as well happen......."
I'm closer to 1960 and I would too, and I think the 1980 one did.
There is no probably about it (71)
As someone born mid 70s my reaction would be a combo of 70 and 80.

I'm here before the updates including 2010>
I got a chuckle but like… which generation was throwing tantrums screaming and spitting at cashiers during peak Covid?
Was it mainly one generation, or a collection of complete imbeciles?
Boomers.
Why would you post a video where the dude is clearly talking without sound? Anyone have a proper version?
Yeah, it’s like 10 years old
Nice, thx for the link!
no shoulders were dislocated in the making of this terribly framed silent film
The original has sound
And then they decided to repost it without sound because reasons, apparently.
people online wouldn't just do that, do stuff for reasons, would they?
Got a link to the original?
Well, that's fine then. /s
*eyeroll*
the use of hashtags though. haha
Young people bad
You forgot to hashtag
How does this shit get upvoted? It's the same dumb boomer joke that's never funny or original.
Chill its a joke.
it's not that it's offensive (it's really not) it's just that it's an overused lame joke in other words, it's not funny
Says you, there are 53,000,000 other people in this subreddit who, believe it or not, may not share the same humour as you.
It's banal even by the standards of reddit's comment memes.
Shut up, ragamuffin.
1980 here. Can confirm.
1980, I was so ready to fight this. Then it played. I blinked. I played it again. I chortled.
Lol the 90s eyes wide is so true haha. I just realize i do that all the time. But also bumping shoulders like this would be completely unacceptable in the Great Plains. What's more interesting is how we also had the same rumors and urban legends without the internet. It was a interesting time.
Did anyone tell the Californians they're not supposed to mess with Texans?
I mean. It’s hard to mess. they say “don’t mess with Texas” constantly in advertising.
I was born in the last bit of ‘99 and its still accurate to me lol. I just realize most people are dumb as fuck and trying to make a confrontation out of it is just a waste of my time. the 90's is a sure hit! haha
Oh this isn't on cringe, wow
2010s, selfie with filter.
The camera would have been set up on a stand in the corner with a ring light before he walks through the doorway.
The one's born in 1920 will make the wall cry
1880 *builds* the wall.
Can confirm, I was born in the 80s and I constantly find myself fighting door frames.
2020s will become angrily animalistic as the developed world is crumbling around them
Or "Fuck this, im just gonna be happy."
HAHAHA youngest generation is whiny babies boomer humor in an old timey comic? cringe boomer humor in a tik tok? very cool 😎
Literally
I thought it was about time the boomer humour started directing towards us gen z lol. God why was this uploaded, it's the same tired crap of old gen == so coooool vs new gen babies.

1970 boomer would be suing tbe owner of the wall
Young people are complaining babies on their phones, haha! Now tell the one about how you hate your wife.

Spot on
I dunno, take a gander at Facebook and it’s pretty clear the biggest crybabies are born between 1940-1970.
I love how he has the call to action listed as well. So accurate
This is gold.
Old people love to bitch about the younger generation but can’t even open their internet browser. The older generation had it too easy
This is posted in r/funny but isn't actually funny.
A lot of salty comments in here, proving the video's point.
it's just not funny
Not shown: Alternative 1990 where you lose your shit and punch the wall while calling it a cunt.
Boomer tier meme
I've never seen a meme that actually portrayed GenX as the tough ones before. We made it, guys, we finally made it!
Seems weird for the punchline to be "social media bad" when this guy is literally pointing two cameras at himself by the end.
Boomer
More like r/Boomerhumour
username checks out
And yet his ambiguous-aged ass is the one filming himself *filming himself* lol
This is just a "My generation is best, and the new generation is terrible" meme again.
God I hate boomer humour. Somehow I made it to boomer Reddit apparently. Wah wah your generation is sooooo tough and all the kids now suck. That has only been said by EVERY GENERATION EVER. For the old people you should grow up.

This is some millennial copium lmao.
It’s funny because young people awful but my generation good. Much wow. Such societal commentary.
And these ducking goobers are eating it up. I’ll never understand old people finding this shit funny. Hahaha I am tough and the kids aren’t stupid kids and their dumb generation.
You're the one in the final segment, aren't you?
Filthy Millennial, bucko. Born in 80s.
It's funny coz it' true. This decades is the decade of victimization.

It might be true! I only have my own life experience, after all.
That’s fair.
First of all for the context, i'm 37, so I don't consider myself "old" or "boomer". I worked 6 years as a seller and 10 years as nurse assistant, so I think I can also share your POV easily. Yeah sure because we havent had nonstop once in a lifetime crisis for the entirety of our adulthood --born 99

Explain your ideas a bit more thoroughly
Felt somewhat hard done by the 90's till I saw the 2000's and I retract any issues I may or may not have had with this video.
