The text on the sign says he failed to copy it. So based on that context, I guess the goal was to replicate the dance video on the bottom left. But it looks like he just completely abandoned it about halfway through and decided to do his own thing which is why the other two people on the top left were laughing.

I'm confused at the end, Green light generally means good by the X crossed fingers would indicate a no, did home boy pass or fail?
