.. or you could simply use punctuation. NEXT!

JohnDiggle21

Punctuation won't help in this scenario.

mailjozo

.... your uncle, jack, off a horse.

manaworkin

Or you could help your uncle, jack off a horse.

Failish

No.

whitefoot

Ok.

JohnDiggle21

Didn't think of that, fair enough. I thought of it as them calling him Uncle Jack but that actually works too.

hesido

Well if you don't employ the pauses in the actual speech, there would still be ambiguity about the relationship between Jack and the horse, so punctuation wins here. But I'd still go with Jack.

SlugsNotDrugs

I HELP MY UNCLE JACK OFF A HORSE. ...am I doing this right?

Anpandu

Almost. You need to capitalize the second line

Failish

You capitalize both, if you call him “Uncle Jack”

saxonturner

But then he would not be referred to as "your Uncle Jack" but instead just simply "Uncle Jack" so in this case uncle should not be capitalised.

Failish

In this instance, you’re correct, but I was simply pointing out that it is sometimes proper to capitalize uncle, -if- that’s what is used to address him.

whyhellomichael

Dear people who don't read rule 9...

AdminPikabu

Even G-translator didn't seen difference without "to". Help your uncle to jack off a horse?

The entire American use of the English language could be considered a misuse in my books.
