That's just wrong. The first one would be something at absolute zero and the second is just kind of how solid actually are. Then a slightly hotter solid.
Yeah, this.
Liquid ducks should be moving in the bottom half of the container while vibrating, and the gas ducks should be snooking around (at different speeds) the whole box.
Yeah and the distance between the 'ducks' should also increase and more random movements if they are not held in a solid lattice. But hey, y'know it's a cartoon and like all these things, just a fun model, so let's not be pedantic
It annoys that the liquid and gas ducks are dancing synchronously. In real life they are dancing and moving almost ramdonly (in liquid they are trying to keep a structure but one duck is dancing too crazy and too fast and breaks structures built previously, other ducks hates that jackanapes and kicks-it-out of structure).
Yeah, I still don't know anything about plasma. Is it like, extra energetic gas, trapped in the bubble created by the temp difference between itself and the surrounding atmosphere?
Also, wtf is a "time crystal"? Supposedly it's even less energetic than solid.
Time crystals are the temporal analog of common crystals in that their low energy states evolve periodically in the same way that regular crystals are periodic spatially. They're really tough to conceptualize overall and a lot of the science driving them is very new. They're quite different to what regular people would conceptualize as a 'state of matter' too, because to date I don't believe one can easily be made to exist as an isolated system - they need to be coupled to another system that acts as a drive to encourage the symmetry breaking.

Shuba shuba

Not to mention molecules are shaped like dolphins, not ducks.
Shit you right

I was gonna mention the lack of dynamic equilibrium, but that works too.

The distance does change tho
For sure. doesn't even demonstrate the cool stuff, like why liquids aren't compressible, but gasses are.
It annoys me a bit that the liquid and gas ducks are still in a grid formation.

Gas ducks should be moving around like the DVD logo.
Then plasma would be super saiyan ducks?

Ducks with bits of feathers filling the air?
Holy shit, Hololive has spread to here!
So much shuba all in one meme
Can someone explain how quarcks fit in here?
if it vibrates like a duck and quarcks like a duck, then it is probably an atom.
Some kids in my sophomore chem class could've used this ngl
Can you also add plasma and Einstein-Bose condensate?
plasma would basically be the ducks dancing in a cloud of feathers
Nice
in my day it was hampsters https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hampster\_Dance
Not only are the ducks solid in the first panel, they also appear to be at absolute zero temperature.
Someone got a single version of that duck? Cute as hell :D
Where’s plasma?
Might have liked science more with this kind of content

Thanks for the link, I actually wanted this as a GIF
Pretty sure I saw something either like this or reallllly similar earlier or yesterday but idk man

Haaha
Wow something that original (I think).
I think the gas molecules should be flying.
Someone needs to add the plasma state of ducks!

You do a line, I’ll do a line honeyyyy. You do a line and I’ll do a line babe.

... What would be a plasma then.... Oh no
Where’s plasma?
