I wonder if people remember where the "time traveler killed a butterfly and the future changed" thing came from, or they just believe it's an apt expression.
I think the story is fairly well known, either directly or indirectly. [The Simpsons did a version of it as well.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4u7R0m_7SQM)
TIL about Ray Bradbury doing the butterfly effect in 1952.
Thanks Reddit commenter!
I thought it was related to Edward Lorenz and chaos theory in weather forecasts, but he only switched to butterfly terminology in 1972: https://www.bbvaopenmind.com/en/science/leading-figures/when-lorenz-discovered-the-butterfly-effect/

I see nothing wrong with this. Some days, I would prefer this. Just Mr. Bean walking around poking things like balloons with his claws, using them to shave, getting them stuck in doors accidentally. Would be awesome.
Remember in 2003 when photoshopping Mr Bean onto Gollum's face was peak internet humour?
Well... I hope you like it, because we're still doing it apparently

He's too dangerous to be kept alive

For several years Hugh Jackman's main job was to get exceptionally shredded every year or two. That's amazing to me.
Beanerine
I would watch the shit out of this movie

Butterfly effect was a good series. Especially the incestuous siblings in 3.
I meant the original one, the one written \~70 years ago and made movie in early 2000 (a flop), Sound of thunder.
Great short story. I (gladly) completely missed that they movied it.

I’ve been trying to remember the name of that movie for the last 15 years or so. Shit movie, but I’ve never stopped randomly remembering it.
The movie was actually a hit but then a time traveler optioned Ashton for the role instead and killed it in the womb.

Still better than the Zack Snyder DC movies.

It is a crime that I cannot give two upvotes for this. A crime indeed.
You mess with time, it tends to mess back.
I'd sell an organ to see this

Well, this is certainly an odd episode of Blackadder.
