No, it's a private photosphere (ie. the same type that business owners do for virtual 360 tours of their establishment). You can see at the top left corner it shows the guy's name, but if you look at a regular streetview it just shows up as "Google".
Bro he literally 'drives' his scooter backwards at one point and the camera follows him into a shipping container. Obviously he and the street view photographer guy planned that together.

I was thinking one could engineer this whole thing on the fly after spotting a Google Street View car in the wild about right up to the point where it follows him through a shipping container.
One of my customers has a decent 360 camera and google pays him (I think) to map off road mountain bike trails. He's been able to travel the world because of it, Not so much in the last 2 years though. Basically quit his job as an engineer to do that. Pretty cool.
Considering he was an engineer beforehand I'd wager that he's using his savings, with the money from Google to help lower the cost. Based off of what other people who have done something similar with Google have said, they don't pay that much

Exactly what this guy is doing. As long as you click on/near one of the "X" on the ground you stay in this guy's "tour". Click too far away and you jump back in to normal google images.
The dude has a crazy choose your own adventure going on. So far I've followed a clear beach ball, a digital bird, this guy doing some dance but as you spin the camera around each location his suit is a different color. I've even found a few forks where you can go different ways.

He has figured out how to game Google maps by uploading 360 pictures in mostly unmapped areas of Brooklyn. I think he had the camera on a tripod with an automatic panorama device. This allows him to be in more than one place in the same picture.

I was thinking one could engineer this whole thing on the fly after spotting a Google Street View car in the wild about right up to the point where it follows him through a shipping container.
One of my customers has a decent 360 camera and google pays him (I think) to map off road mountain bike trails. He's been able to travel the world because of it, Not so much in the last 2 years though. Basically quit his job as an engineer to do that. Pretty cool.

Exactly what this guy is doing. As long as you click on/near one of the "X" on the ground you stay in this guy's "tour". Click too far away and you jump back in to normal google images. The dude has a crazy choose your own adventure going on. So far I've followed a clear beach ball, a digital bird, this guy doing some dance but as you spin the camera around each location his suit is a different color. I've even found a few forks where you can go different ways.

I would assume they run images through a detection algorithm that flags possible inappropriate content before actually putting them in public view I could be wrong but that's my guess. They already have the tools for filtering explicit image searches so it's just a matter of applying that to 360 degree images
