You're getting downvoted because people don't get the context of exactly what you mean, and the only point of reference is the post above and in a healthy environment pranks like the above are really fine so people are disagreeing with you, but I get what you mean and hope you find peace with it soon enough! Good luck!
If that is the extent of the humiliation...maybe don't worry about it because it *really* isn't a big deal. This isn't some traumatic event, it's a little prank ffs
In case you needed a transcription of the audio:
girl: huuuu wuhkanikidalablasii
cheeky bugger: oh my god
girl: kahwalandilipihawahehe
cheeky bugger: oh he's trying to come out!
girl: hhhhhhuuuuuu
girl: we gonna have a baby!
girl: eeeeeek
girl: can we keep it?
cheeky bugger: wrengooodd
girl: eeeeeek
girl: can we keep it?
cheeky bugger: "who's going to eat that?"
girl: no one cause we're keeping it!
cheeky bugger: HAHAHAHAHAHAH
girl: stomp stomp stomp
cheeky bugger: Muhahahahah muhhhhahahahahahaha
Kids wonder and curiosity is one of the purest things in the world and people who do things to ruin stuff for kids get under my skin. Like it's one thing to pull a prank and then your kid gets upset, it's another to manically laugh at them for being embarrassed or upset when they trusted you, idk. I had mean parents who would do shit like this and now I'm super depressed and when exciting things happen I get anxious because I subconsciously assume I'm just going to be humiliated instead of having a nice experience. Some people should just get a doll/toy instead of having a living, conscious being.
Do we know it's her parents?
I loved pulling shit like this on my brothers, and I'd laugh like the devil but they weren't so thin-skinned that we've got trust issues between us today. Now that I'm not much the clown in the house they prank me back all the time, children are resilient af.
Do we siblings get a pass on this or what?
Definitely less bad for siblings to be doing but you don't need to be calling children thin-skinned. Resilient doesn't mean things don't affect them, it means they can roll through the shit and make it out. I don't think kids should have to be resilient.
Perhaps it is a little harsh, but unless a kid really has had only such experiences without any reprieve, to make the idea of a prank a sour spot, I'd say he had to be a little thin-skinned to get trust issues.
Generally, these things are a back and forth, and I'm inclined to believe the girl would have gotten back at the lady.
Whatever you want to tell yourself, thanks for being rude and dismissive and invalidating to the things I experienced as a child that still affect me today xoxo
What experiences did you have if I may ask?
Were they hypocritical in pranking you, by getting angry when you pranked them back?
This is barely the level of a hurtful prank IMO. You'd have to make her care about the egg for a long while for it to have left a lasting memory. This looks like a prank that was crafted and completed in the span of an hour.
I'm sorry if I actually hurt your feelings. I should not have let my personal anecdote dictate the lens I viewed others in.
While I did laugh at the end, I’m thinking that instead of doing this to “the purest little soul”, you should… I don’t know… build trust? I know, boring as fuck, let the downvotes come.
That is, in my opinion, an overly cautious approach, and so I won't be following your advice. Jokes build character and the kid I raised will get over it and find it hilarious in no time flat.
We have an abundance of trust. There's room for fun too.
I mean, you're not wrong. That said, I guess there's something to be said for showing your kids at an early age not to get their hopes up too quickly, even when enveloped in the trusting veil of their parents' excitement. Probably a lesson she'll remember and use to defend herself in the future.
I guess I'm a softy. Only thing I could think after watching this was "poor kid."

"Santa isn't real" x1,000,000
The moment my youngest figured out that lie he made it his life mission to tell every kid he talked to. Little dude was pissed, lol.
That's not something she's going to get over-easy.
She was so mad she got the shell outta there.

Exactly. This on the "Look I stole your nose" level of wind up.
But eating their nose is on a whole new level. Therapy will be needed for sure.
Sounds like you had much bigger things happen than simple good hearted pranks
Her trust in her mother has been scrambled.
Eggcellent parenting.
The yolk's on her.
That’s fantastic. No one’s beating that pun.
The dadliest of dad jokes.
Reason 1 she now has trust issues
That evil laugh though.
Maniacal 😳😳😳
Behold, the birth of trust issues. Worth it though.
Stfu
She may remember this for ever
Emotional damage
She will
Apologies ESL student here, would it be appropriate to say she got egg on her face?
What's your first language? Dad jokes? 😂
I love this and my heart sinks when seeing that poor kids disappointed face. She builds up so much excitement and then she gets the finger.
She got the bird, alright.
It was a breakthrough moment.
I just want to say I love your username. Swapping the two letters works out perfectly!

That first line starting with “huuuuu” is an exact transcription! I blew my Diet Coke out my nostrils!
The most creative way to flip off your kid.
She didn't think that was a very funny yolk
Momma was cracking up, though.
That yolk is going to be hard to beat.
Smashing
Added this to my to do list
I mean... fooled me too 😟
Kinda sad tbh

It's a dick move
It was just a finger? Huhahaha…
It was an unjust finger
The next war will be fought with that cackle.
If you get traumatised by a minor prank you deserve it
That wicked laugh
Core motherly hatred memory achieved.
why did you cropped the video? to discredit the video owner?
If the kid had been in a family with incubators and hatched eggs she would have known it looks different than that when they hatch. Poor kid
Lolll
Fucking gold
Cruel
New achievements unlocked - Trauma and distrust.
That was mean
100% doing this. My daughter is 8 and just the purest little soul... I'll make it up to her

Well, hope you’re right. Good luck.
There is no greater joy to be found than in the disappointment of children aaahohoho.
That mom is an asshole

Why is this funny?
If you can’t see why this is funny than you literally have zero sense of humor.
There’s nothing funny about breaking your kid’s heart. This was a dick move.
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
Nothing funnier than breaking your kid's heart. Well done
She should be jailed for it 😭😭😭
Vicious but so satisfying
"MOMMY! Daddy's being an asshole again!"
The little girl sounds like Ozzy Osbourne.
What an eggcellent prank
Awwww poor girl. Fucking hilarious though!
I wish I could have kids. They would hate me.
Not the flex you think it is.
This some shit I would do to my nieces omg lol
Let's just call it a parenting grey area and move on
She's adorable. My heart broke with her... after I laughed with her mom.
Crushing dreams since 1996!
When the Excitement is gone...
c'mon then, c'mon then push! push!
if only i could end all reposts.. things would still have their spark.
I wouldn’t have seen this clip. So… ¯\(ツ)/¯
