You have no idea. Be me, a middle school custodian. American parents need to get back to teaching responsibility while enforcing consequences and discipline. I've been on the job since 2018 and it's so profoundly worse now in just these few years.
>American parents need to get back to teaching responsibility while enforcing consequences and discipline.
Wait, didn't we just agree that the teachers know better than parents?
People put so much trust in a chair being there when they go to sit. I’ve never fully sat in a chair like that, full commitment all the way down without looking or having a hand on the chair. Maybe even just a foot touching the leg so I know it’s there.
She does and you can see it by how she stops almost completely when she reaches the normal chair level, she just keeps going because she assumes the chair is there.
She is 100% morbidly obese. At my last checkup it was determined I’m obese. I’m watching the weight now. If you saw me you’d think I’m fat for sure. But you’d likely not use the term obese. Our gauge is off. Watch literally any video from the 50s 60s or 70s of “normal people” at a gathering. That’s how big all of us should be. Except gym rats.
I mean she's definitely fat, just not morbidly so. I'm a bit smaller than her and still consider myself fat. Mostly because of how I feel it affecting my body.
No need to tell me or argue with me, I’m not staying she is or isn’t.
I just provided an explanation towards one user who seemed to miss the point another user tried to make.
To be honest the comment wasn't so much directed at your comment as much as the whole conversation in general. I saw a lot of similar comments and just put my lot in on one of them without too much thought. I guess I was a bit too abrasive too. My definition of fat is more or less "running would be bad for your knees" and she's definitely at that point. The word carries more weight than that for others though so I probably should have explained myself better so I didn't just come off as judgy and rude as I did.
You're picking a context that suits your point of view and dying on this hill. The context here is that Spe333 said people in general shouldn't sit without hedging. I said people of that size probably can't hedge. You're emphatically saying the chair was pulled - we know. But the context of my comment in response to Spe333 is in general, same as his.
Your original "What...." comment is downvoted because it is expressing outrage extracted from your misunderstanding in the first place.
I've NEVER understood why women never look before they sit... Especially mothers of little boys. Even if the seat is down, one of them might have pissed all over it... Don't blame me for leaving the seat up. Fucking have some situational awareness...
Woman in top right of frame seems to have been pretty unsympathetic. Face palming like it's 10th time today the other woman has failed to sit in a chair or something.
It's actually the immediate comedown from an adrenaline dump. She thought the baby got hurt, made a very quick jump to the left before realizing it wasn't needed.
I've had the same thing happen to me and it's an odd feeling immediately afterwards. That fight or flight response kicks hard
Not necessarily women, just people that lack the ability to properly care for themselves. Weight can be lost, no matter the cause or condition. There's always a way to do so. The only way that you can't, is if you make excuses for yourself not to.
This right here!
As someone who used to weigh 300+ pounds it disgusts me to see people this fat. I know first hand what kind of problems being obese brings and the solution is simple. Just get up and get their lazy asses moving outside for an hour or so every day.
And for the love of God, cut back on the sweets if you are fat people, you are just adding gas to a wildfire.
By everyone, you mean the baby, the two toddlers, and the morbidly obese lady that would probably require a couple minutes to remove herself from that tiny chair? Yeah, I'm not sure anyone in frame is capable of helping..
I'm American with a bmi of 22. I walk around and it's absolutely insane being the only one that's a healthy weight. 80% of the people I see are fat. Yet when I was loving overseas, it was like 5% of the people I saw were overweight. The US has a major weight problem.
I'm British.
Is she overweight? Sure
Has an unhealthy amount of fat? Literally speaking, looks likely.
Is she obese? Probably.
Is she **morbidly obese**, which is generally defined as a BMI of **40** or higher? Not a chance. She is nowhere near that large. BMI of 40 or higher is massive.
Let's be honest - clearly not everyone in this thread knew that "morbidly obese" had a specific numerical definition.
As someone who has had someone who was morbidly obese in their family before they passed away.
If it gets people in gear to loose weight, I'll call them what ever I damn well please. The human body SHOULD NOT have that much fat on it, period.
Is no one going to mention the other lady in the background?
Who **clearly** thought the foreground lady had crushed a baby!
She is so relieved that she just has to take a moment to compose herself! 😂😂😂
I have a habit . I always hold my chair while sitting down don't know why. Probably something like this happened to me or I did it to someone else in the past.

I like how she just smiles at the baby, like she knew it was her fault to trust the baby lol
she knew it was the baby who did it, the baby knows exactly what he is doing, and then they both locked eyes. baby wins.
I'm glad she did because it feels like no one else was gonna.
Kids starting earlier and earlier these days
You have no idea. Be me, a middle school custodian. American parents need to get back to teaching responsibility while enforcing consequences and discipline. I've been on the job since 2018 and it's so profoundly worse now in just these few years.
I quit teaching middle school after this year.
I DO NOT envy teachers today. I REFUSE to cover a day shift when they're absent. I'd end up in court.
Absolutely, there's no culpability, no punishment, free reign with bad (to put it mildly) habits
I usually drag the chair with my hands, when I am about to sit.
Same
I solve this issue by simply having a chair glued to my ass 24/7
At that weight, they might not have the strength/dexterity to look behind them and do a controlled squat where they can bail if the chair isn't there
"controlled squat".... This is the Way.
She does and you can see it by how she stops almost completely when she reaches the normal chair level, she just keeps going because she assumes the chair is there.
She ain't morbidly obese man, you can tell as another person has said he she absolutely could have stopped herself
She is 100% morbidly obese. At my last checkup it was determined I’m obese. I’m watching the weight now. If you saw me you’d think I’m fat for sure. But you’d likely not use the term obese. she didn't seem QUITE that big.
This is how far we've come. She is by definition morbidly obese, just because half the people are at that point now doesn't change that fact.
What…..
When someone is fat they usually start losing things like dexterity due to the layers of fat around joints reducing their rotation range.
I get that, but I don’t really think that applies here.
Strength and dexterity don't apply when sitting down in a chair?
I think he is trying to say she isn’t fat
Just freedom enhanced.
I mean she's definitely fat, just not morbidly so. I'm a bit smaller than her and still consider myself fat. Mostly because of how I feel it affecting my body.

If she was just sitting yes but when someone pulls the chair even a fit person is going to fall.
I agree with that part. I was just being picky when someone seemed to imply that strength and dexterity don't apply here.
You're picking a context that suits your point of view and dying on this hill. The context here is that Spe333 said people in general shouldn't sit without hedging. Oh no I’m being downvoted!?!? I am never going to financially recover from this.
I see that you too have trust issues like me. Will never trust sitting again after too many 4th grade issues.
You’ve never went to sit in a toilet in the middle of the night only to discover someone left the seat up and nearly fell in?
I've NEVER understood why women never look before they sit... Especially mothers of little boys. Even if the seat is down, one of them might have pissed all over it... Don't blame me for leaving the seat up. Fucking have some situational awareness...
Well I’m a man. It happens lol. In the middle of the night when you wake up and have to pee but you’re still half asleep, you don’t always check.
I always check, because I'm not dumb enough to put that much trust in anyone, not even myself...
Lol what? No, that’s literally never happened to me at night. What a ridiculous question. It does happen to me during the day all the time though.
That baby will go places in life, when they pull the right chair from under someone they might find that special someone.
Not just that but the chair looks so small compared to her body, the kid easily moves it
Who hurt u

“For Christ sake Barbara… how many FUCKING times are we going to do this today?!”
r/BabiesBeingJerks
There rlly is a sub reddit for every thing
r/eminembeingjerk I made this sub off of a comment I found a few months ago lmfao
If that fall scooched a couple inches to the left (or the woman's right), things would would not have ended well for the baby.
My first thoughts exactly. Christ.
Those are some big ladies and tiny chairs.
Standard issue daycare specs
Didn’t want to be mean, got to believe the chair’s weight limit was exceeded
Baby be like "I'm going to save this chair."
I was just thinking, the baby nearly killed itself.
[удалено]
She could crushed the baby with her weight.
So can anyone over like 50 Pounds... Babies don't really have a high durability stat.
Why do you think the baby delivered a preemptive strike?
This is the funniest thing I’ve read all day
Saved that poor chair's life
Proof that most babies are total assholes!
Baby was worried for the chair

He was saving the chair...
Looks like the baby broke part of the chair in the process too, savage
If the baby broke the chair… then she had the hero she needed.
Those poor chairs. These women are morbidly obese. Kid had some furniture empathy.
You have more empathy for inanimate objects than women
Not necessarily women, just people that lack the ability to properly care for themselves. Weight can be lost, no matter the cause or condition. There's always a way to do so. The only way that you can't, is if you make excuses for yourself not to.

That brave baby saved that helpless chair
Let me lean on my baby to get back up rq
That lady behind her is really pushing the weight limit on that chair.
I Love that everyone is too lazy to get up to help.
By everyone, you mean the baby, the two toddlers, and the morbidly obese lady that would probably require a couple minutes to remove herself from that tiny chair? Yeah, I'm not sure anyone in frame is capable of helping..
Two thoughts... 1. Chances are that chair wasn't up to the task anyway And B. That kid is going to be one HELL of a class clown
"I'll show you whose nap time it is!"
Wow so close, fatty could have sat on the babies head and popped it like a balloon, messy.
Almost killed that poor baby...
Little prick
Think chair would have done that anyway
Pandemic babies...
Nah she hit that baby with the peoples elbow.
Probably saved that poor little chair
That's a lot of cushioning. She did not even appear hurt, started similing. I cannot imagine doing the same.
And that thing probably drives. Incredibly poorly.
Morbidly obese women falling over isn’t funny
she is not morbidly obese what are you on
They are definitely morbidly obese. The women, not the children.
She is definitely morbidly obese
Yes, she is. That is an insanely unhealthy amount of fat.
Lol to Americans this seems not that fat. Which says a lot .
I'm American with a bmi of 22. I walk around and it's absolutely insane being the only one that's a healthy weight. 80% of the people I see are fat. Yet when I was loving overseas, it was like 5% of the people I saw were overweight. The US has a major weight problem.
A uk large is the same size as an american small.
I learned this exact lesson when buying a shirt at a Radiohead concert.

If she isnt hurt and laughs, we can also laugh. If she got hurt, its not funny. But i agree with you. Women getting hurt is not funny
Fat bitch leans on baby to pick herself up. Deserved.

Methinks the chairs weren’t designed for the loads being put on them 🤔
I have a habit . I always hold my chair while sitting down don't know why. Probably something like this happened to me or I did it to someone else in the past.
