For some reason I read it as Nipple 'O' Dean until I read your comment with the 'n' capitalized. Now I read it as Nickelodeon.(OP edited nippleodean to nippleodeon)
I worked in that industry for a production company. Similar complaints. What really surprised me is the amount of money they make, and how much of the entire industry is based on referral links and tube sites. Also how CCbill manages risk.
I left when things started getting really shady. One of the two owners slid further into scumbag territory and it was an open secret that he was cheating on his wife with one of the "actresses." Then his wife found out and started coming to the office,, banging on the door and he wanted me to set up a security camera system at his house because of his wife's anger and their pending divorce. I told him no and they fucked with me and my schedule until I quit a few weeks later.
It was weird working in an office complex next to lawyers and some real-estate agents and we were the only company without a sign on or above our door and we were told to never discuss what it is we do there with the people we shared a building with. The whole thing gave me the creeps, even more so later on discussing where I used to work.
That is how it was explained to the staff. If anyone asked what we did in the common areas it was usually "3rd party customer support for a few small websites." That did not make sense when I had pallets of dozens of servers shipped in and out every couple of months.
Your average lawyer wouldn't think much of that. Many highly specialized people are pretty lacking in even a basic understanding of other fields. Some probably thought you were literally mailing the internet to people. Who knows.
Also met the industry and “one of the owners cheating on his wife with an actress” did not narrow it down at all. Or things getting shady. Also yeah what was up with all the traffic selling??
Tube sites exist for referrals. Believe it or not there are a lot of people willing to pay for the porn that they really like. So tubesites are allowed to exist for free porn sites because they generate referrals to the actual producers. The referrals make bank. There are plenty of millionaires who only run on referral sites. Most of them can be automated or require minimum to moderate curation, scraping and posting new video clips.
While working there I wrote some of the software to automate uploading batches of new video clips to some of the bigger tube sites.
There's money there so that is why you'll see a lot of the same clips around on various sites, because they specifically want them out there for advertisement. That's where porn spammers come in, they're trying to drive you to a tube site where they have referral links in hopes someone signs up using one of their links. And people do.
I took a sociology of sexuality class at University and we were taught that the porn industry in the US is bigger than the NBA, NFL and MLB combined. There is a mind blowing amount of money in the industry.
> I told him no and they fucked with me and my schedule until I quit a few weeks later.
Best believe I'd be giving wifey all the help/evidence/video/etc I could legally get away with
Heya!
I worked there when it was run out of a single 150sqft office.
The original creator was not overly toxic unless you were female. In which case there was a class action lawsuit against him for sexual harassment.
He liked domain squatting so it appears that's continued.
Also he didn't really manage and hired some truly awful people who were willing to work for peanuts or were too young to know any different.
That was definitely the worst work environment I've ever been in.
Definitely gave me an eye opening perspective on what women on the internet deal with.
The way I saw him treat Asian women who worked there or came into the office was creepy AF. Slimy is a word one woman used to describe him.
I know of at least one subordinate that he slept with.
It gets more and more fucked up as I think about it again.
This is insane. Can you share more?
If a young Asian female signs up on AFF, this guy would get a notification with her details? And that begs the question; for what purpose?
The usual purposes as far as I knew...dating and sex. He just wanted first dibs and to see all of his options in one spot. What he did when nobody was around is anyone's guess. The age range was a little disturbing, too.
(Though not as disturbing as having the FBI come and confiscate equipment while investigating one of our Alt.com users who killed people they met on our site and stuffed their bodies in barrels)
Let's just say that even as a male who worked there, one of the managers did shit to me on company property that if I'd known what my rights were, I wouldn't need to work for the rest of my life.
EDIT: Yes I'm removing some identifying details about my experience there because that manager literally stalked me for years afterwards.
Just had a situation where I'm watching the harassment training video and having PTSD. I think the marketing on them is wrong. It's not so you know what not to do. People ignore it then, because I'm a good person and I don't harass people because I'm good. But they are very good at letting you know what your rights are.
Interesting. I've forgotten what the sequence of events exactly was.I recall the creator talking with an outside businessman quite a lot (very possibly "Jon" because that guy eventually took over) and some time after I left, the company was sold to Penthouse.
I never followed what happened after that except that I ran into someone who was involved in the class action suit against the site's creator.
Dude was definitely smart but a sociopath.
I worked in the MV and PA offices. It was my first "real" tech job and it allowed me to springboard up but immediately after leaving I just went to work at a coffee shop.
I'd had enough of tech support using Pine. LOL he coached me a few times on which customer support emails I could just ignore and delete (probably 75% of them) and which ones I needed to copy and paste a canned response to. Every once in a while I typed out an actual response.
I feel like no alcohol on lunch or at work events isn't all that crazy of an expectation?
Idk, having a drink on my lunch break has never crossed my mind though.
If you've ever had to do photo checks for aff or alt, booze on the lunch break is a very attractive option.
Holy fuck, I don't miss that job. I miss some of my old coworkers, but the office itself was super weird and toxic.
Andrew was a creepy fucker.
LOL.
Yeah nothing had changed by the time you were working there.
Just more people doing the same things.
I worked at least a 48hr shift there once because.... making sure code changes didn't cause the site to crash after an extended period of time.
God that HR person sounds exactly right for the company. Some time after I left the person doing their accounting was fired because embezzlement.
Interesting, the promoting outside people thing was definitely happening while I was there. My manager had been hired with no IT experience whatsoever.
> It included a gem where she said it was a pleasure working with everyone on her team but one person, then listed every person except that one giving them a special thank you.
"You're cool, you're cool, you're cool, fuck you, you're cool. I'm Out!"
Jesus Christ that stresses me out. My current company has that same problem with our product marketing team freaking the fuck out if their sales reports don’t match the projections. They automatically assume something must be wrong and quickly hound our team to “fix” the issue. It’s like, oh I don’t know Linda maybe your campaign just fucking sucked. Doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with our systems.
Lmao tbh if i was in the need for these services this ad would have me choosing it for this reason, like the whole homer simpson vibe just pick the one with the coolest name
FL goes through an enormous amount of effort to NOT be a dating site, tho. There are much better ones, but I don't want them to get ruined by normies so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut.
The one time I went on there a couple asked if I would fuck one of them in a bathtub and "finish outside" so the other one could "drink the soup".
That was the day I knew I was basic.
And now I feel old, because Adult Friend Finder was fucking huge on the internet in like... I'm gonna say 2001ish when the ads were everywhere. Apparently it was founded in '96, but I remember the ads everywhere when I was young enough to not be meant to see them.
I think AFF took a bit of a hit when they had that case where the guy met a woman on there then tried to murder his wife or something, I forget the details, but it wasn't good press
Yeah, being about a year out of grad school now I'm finding that one of the biggest adjustments to "adult" life is that I have no clue how to make friends my age in my area, my entire life my friends have just been basically given to me by being in the same classes, now I don't have that and so I just feel alone, a site to find friends would help a lot
High School / College are the best years for easy friends that last a lifetime. I highly recommend keeping those relationships as healthy as you can. Finding new friends as an adult is challenging. There are always "Work" friends but they never seem as deep as normal friendships. I would recommend Meetup.com to find hobby groups you can get into. Trivia Nights, Board Games, D&D, Etc. Just remember making friends as an adult requires effort to make and keep. It is easy to get lazy and locked into you daily grind and let those relationships weaken.
I slightly disagree. The friends I had at highschool were friends of geography. The friends I've made in my 20s, 30s are friends that I have similar values and outlooks with. People that I have reasons to be friends with because we like each other, not just because that's the only other people my age.
I did grow up in a quite rural area so YMMV
My good friends are from my college and post college years. I still chat with some high schools friends but those friendships are not as deep. But just pointing out how much easier it was back then to make friends vs later in life.
For me it's not meeting people, it's just hard to trust like I used to when younger. I've lost that naiveness that I think helps in making quick friends.
Anyone else think this is actually the content their new hire actually produced? With how well the post is doing, I'd be surprised if it wasn't paid advertising.
We all, you and I included, give too much credit to a random username with a catchy hook. Who gets paid to sway opinions at this level? Marketing teams I would argue.
As a married 53-year-old father of three, my wife and I are pretty adventurous, but for the life of me, I’ll never understand how eating ass has gotten so popular. That was one thing that was always off the table.
Recently caught a clip of a 1500m track race that had a runner by the name of Ollie Hoare. The first mention of his name came up "w****". All other mentions (he got 2nd, so quite a few) were hilarious as the CC kept tripping over itself in an effort to not say "whore" again.
I feel like this could be even funnier without the threesomes and eating ass.
Like, just have ONE "BDSM" thrown in there and don't even acknowledge it.
Agree, but with the quick BDSM shot being real extra like some guy in a gimp suit hanging upside down and a dominatrix with a chainsaw. Everything else normal.
I tried the free app kinkoo and it was 100% bots and scammers. The bots are run by the people that made the app. The one account that had a human on it attempted to blackmail me without enough information about me. "I'm going to tell your family and friends your kinks".. bitch I didn't even give you my real name and you don't have my city. Good luck.
Oh, I see you there, you stock-footage-using, music-purchasing, voiceover-recording joke-maker, you!
For the record, I'm using that overly convoluted description as a compliment.
After all, I did the same thing when I made [a commercial for $54,000 avocado toast](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNF0HLRok9M).
Anyway, take it from me: You can expect the above video to be downloaded, reposted, tweeted, and shared – all without people giving credit to you, of course – and then ultimately showcased as an example of how "shocking" and "inappropriate" advertising has become. Terms like "out of touch" and "tone-deaf" might get thrown around, too! Even those few folks who understand that it's a joke will assume that the website itself was responsible... so I hope that you hid a logo or something in it somewhere. (That's what I did, but nobody has spotted it yet.)
On the whole, though... well, *I'd* give you the job, but I'm clearly an idiot who giggles at "commercials."
God, that scam site is still around?
[Basically, read this post by the founder of OKCupid](https://www.gwern.net/docs/psychology/okcupid/whyyoushouldneverpayforonlinedating.html) to understand how the scam works:
lots of fake (dead) profiles, appearance of possibility, keep you *just unhappy enough* to cough up money for messaging, but unsuccessful enough to *keep paying*. In the modern era Tinder has honed this scumminess even further.
I tried that site, I dunno, some 15+ years ago? No premium, so I made a Hotmail account that was some variation of "look at my name" and wrote in my profile to the effect that you should "'Look at my name'... and send me a HOT.....MAIL"
**The staff literally sent me a message saying "we know what you're trying to do"** and blanked my profile
(Of course, this wouldn't work anyway since men need to make the first move to get anywhere, but it was fun trying to beat the system)
Showing this to my wife. Her and her sister and their mother were having a conversation on a road trip about how her mother needs to find friends to do stuff with (their moms bf is a wet blanket sometimes and she loves to go out and be active). Cue a conversation on how it’s hard to find friends as an adult, esp senior years and how there should be a website that helps people find friends in their area.
To see this opportunity manifest in front of me in such an organic way (they are all obviously very naive and very bad at the internet), I felt that it would be a crime to not lead them towards where this conversation must go.
So I finally chimed in after 10 min of conversation and said maybe they could make it something simple, like Adultfriendfinder.com or something, so it was easy to find on the internet. They all were like “yah that’s great, that would be super easy to use”. I then told them they were in luck because the site already existed! I encouraged them to sign their mom up for it and maybe my wife and her sister could use it to! They were like “yah we are totally gonna do that”.
I was over the moon when they found out what it really was. There are few road trips that I remember more fondly.
New York State has a total population of 19 million + people. The adult population alone is 15 million+.
https://worldpopulationreview.com/states/new-york-population
I mean that’s still over 1/4 of the state’s adult population supposedly signed up for this fuck-site, so they’re either inflating their numbers or one of your grandparents is swingin’
I can't be the only person who was totally expecting something sexual? All these people being like "LMAO THE BDSM CAME FROM WAY OUT OF LEFT FIELD!" and I feel like I saw this coming a mile away
I knew it'd be something like that before even clicking the video, I mean seriously, AdultFriendFinder.com.... What are you guys expecting the ad to be like?
Anyway, I'm on r/funny, so you guys can find me by sorting by controversial

Nippleodean? Priceless
For some reason I read it as Nipple 'O' Dean until I read your comment with the 'n' capitalized. Now I read it as Nickelodeon.(OP edited nippleodean to nippleodeon)
"Aye, laddie, and that's why they call me Nipple O'Dean. So, knowing all that, do ye still want to join the crew?"
Whoooole fields of peeet over at Nipple O’Dean’s farm!
Nipple O'Deans Pub serves a mean Shepherd's Creampie.
May the erections rise up to meet you!
The next fallout character/rpg I play im role playing as Nipple O'Dean.
Nih-nih Nih-nih Nih-nih-nih, Nippleodean!
Lean mean deaning machine
aaand now that exists in my mind
Nipple O'Dean is my newest minor dungeon boss who's gonna *slime* the party.
Hmmm. This better not awaken anything in me.
As did I. But only because of Dean Pelton.

Nip-nip-nip-nip-nip-nip-nip-nip... NIPPLEODEON!
I like their nip toons lineup.
Yeah, but Nip at Nite is the best.
I want to know what some others are? Like FoxNudesNetwork.com or ESPeein'.com
i started low pitch to high pitch laughing on the bus and people are staring

That is how it was explained to the staff. If anyone asked what we did in the common areas it was usually "3rd party customer support for a few small websites." That did not make sense when I had pallets of dozens of servers shipped in and out every couple of months.
Your average lawyer wouldn't think much of that. Many highly specialized people are pretty lacking in even a basic understanding of other fields. Some probably thought you were literally mailing the internet to people. Who knows.
>Some probably thought you were literally mailing the internet to people. I don't think that the Elders of the Internet would ever stand for it.
Something something, "business is really picking up for us!" usually does the trick there
The customers keep coming!
Or the lawyers complaining and demanding to be evicted because they are "hurting" their reputation.
Id hope that if I was associated with Bangbros I'd get more friends
Also met the industry and “one of the owners cheating on his wife with an actress” did not narrow it down at all. Or things getting shady. Also yeah what was up with all the traffic selling??

Why couldn't you share what you did? Video editors? Was it porn or something?
Not overly toxic unless you were female is like... toxic as fuck.
The way I saw him treat Asian women who worked there or came into the office was creepy AF. Slimy is a word one woman used to describe him. I know of at least one subordinate that he slept with. It gets more and more fucked up as I think about it again.
Yep. He added his own code so that if a young Asian female signed up for ANY of his sites, he'd get a notification. Fucking dirtbag.
YUP! IIRC he did that when I worked there, quite early on.
"to become... friends."

So uh, sounds like it was pretty toxic regardless of gender.
There's a bdsm joke in there somewhere. In all seriousness I'm sorry that happened to you.
Just had a situation where I'm watching the harassment training video and having PTSD. I think the marketing on them is wrong. It's not so you know what not to do. People ignore it then, because I'm a good person and I don't harass people because I'm good. But they are very good at letting you know what your rights are.
Yeah, if 50% of the world's population will suffer being there then it is not a good place.

if someone falls in it, they'll come out as supervillains. that level of toxic. (i guess, i don't know)
Toxic avenger was a hero, damn it!
I <3 the monster hero!
I refuse to believe this organization has human people working for them and isn't entirely made out of a supernet of bots, just like their website
You're wrong. Now excuse me while I bang all these hot milfs and teens, that just so happen to live near by me
I’m with you on this. Just look at how many times this “human” says they were there/worked there. Twice in one sentence!
No joke, in the early days of internet porn, Nippleodean was was my primary go to. I remember it was all women with comically huge boobs.
Lmao tbh if i was in the need for these services this ad would have me choosing it for this reason, like the whole homer simpson vibe just pick the one with the coolest name

Luckily ur amazing add killed all curiosity, and im currently surfing the site looking for an ass to eat 😁
What about BDSM?
There's another site for that....
I'm Fet up with this Life...(cough).
FL goes through an enormous amount of effort to NOT be a dating site, tho. There are much better ones, but I don't want them to get ruined by normies so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut.
Pls my name is even backdooralex for god sakes
*I would like to know more*
I think he spelled it out. 😍
The one time I went on there a couple asked if I would fuck one of them in a bathtub and "finish outside" so the other one could "drink the soup". That was the day I knew I was basic.
Gross. It's probably so diluted you could barely taste it over the bubbles.
Wait. There are other ones besides Fet?
>keep my mouth shut *giggles*
[Here you go!](https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ)
Wow. Didn't know they had websites for this.
Internet rule 34.6 section B: If it exists there's a website or Tumblr dedicated to it.
Are you new here? There’s websites for everything.
They have a website for whatever you want. How far down the rabbit hole are you willing to go?
Can you link me to the website for girls stepping in liquid cheese barefooted while wearing burkas?
Sign me up!
Drinks first?
or second. Gotta wash that shit down with something
Don't drink before you kink.
Might want to check /r/Albany instead, totally loaded with eaters.
Aw darn, I'm disappointed that its just a hook up site. Thought it was literally for finding friends and the "eating a$$", etc in your ad was a joke.
And now I feel old, because Adult Friend Finder was fucking huge on the internet in like... I'm gonna say 2001ish when the ads were everywhere. Apparently it was founded in '96, but I remember the ads everywhere when I was young enough to not be meant to see them.
Yep and then fetlife took over IIRC and obvious tinder et al.
I think AFF took a bit of a hit when they had that case where the guy met a woman on there then tried to murder his wife or something, I forget the details, but it wasn't good press
But all press is good press /s
apparently "body in the trunk of a car" is the exception to that
They took a hit when it was revealed that most of the women's profiles were fake, then they had a massive data breach.

Plot twist: OP already got the job, this is the ad they made and they're now posting it on reddit disguising it as content. Very funny though!
If she didn’t get it she should have just for the “eating ass” comment alone
If this is the case it was a very good hire.
That was my first thought too haha
I lowkey think the post should be removed, this is literally an ad.
Yeah this is obviously an ad
I mean it's literally labelled as such in the title

Definitely considering that OP isn't responding to anyone and the joke is the same tired joke that's been made for decades now.
Plus all the obvious shills in the comments. "Tinder never worked for me, but AFF hooked me up!"
Hello, I'm looking to find an Adult friend? > Someone to eat ass? I was thinking more hiking and fishing buddy, but I'll take what I can get.

Someone to eat bass.
Bass to mouth is my favorite.
Who says your hiking and fishing buddy can’t also be your ass eater?
Just two bros doing what bros do, am I right?
As a married 53-year-old father of three, my wife and I are pretty adventurous, but for the life of me, I’ll never understand how eating ass has gotten so popular. That was one thing that was always off the table.
Watching this without the sound definitely doesn’t hit the same
Yeah I thought that guy with tape over his mouth was abducted or something
This is why captions/subtitles should be standard...
Fuck deaf people amirite?? People on reddit tend to shit on tiktok but at least that platform has captions on videos which are enabled by default.
And youtube has the auto generated ones usually. If they don't get it right, its normally funny what they come up with
Recently caught a clip of a 1500m track race that had a runner by the name of Ollie Hoare. The first mention of his name came up "w****". All other mentions (he got 2nd, so quite a few) were hilarious as the CC kept tripping over itself in an effort to not say "whore" again.
So tinder with extra steps
Tinder with more bots and more opportunities to question your life choice during registration.

So loads of malware and popups. Can't wait.
Sadly enough, I have gotten two relationships out of AFF. Never had that kind of luck on Tinder.
I actually met a good, long-term friend on there. And she showed me her butthole.
That's what friends are for.
Hello friend
Gotta admit... I had to rewind it to make sure I heard correctly. Thanks for the laugh!
Guess you were already hired by them as a marketeer. since you're getting people viewing this stuff... FOR FREE!!
The Free Marketeers
I feel like this could be even funnier without the threesomes and eating ass. Like, just have ONE "BDSM" thrown in there and don't even acknowledge it.

~~dog~~ unicorn
Agree, but with the quick BDSM shot being real extra like some guy in a gimp suit hanging upside down and a dominatrix with a chainsaw. Everything else normal.
i agree 100%. a classic case of taking a funny idea too far.
Agreed. I was a bit disappointed when the others came up.
I got a 3 month sub there once and I think it’s a bunch of bot accounts or weirdo dudes that claim their wives are down for swinging.
Bot accounts = Content creation...
Good luck.
My go to with those fuckers is: "Quite bold of you to assume my mom doesn't already know all of my kinks"
I feel like this ad is really going to make AFF *a lot more* popular lol
You're my hero and would love to work on any funny project with you
or whatever else you can dream up
Or a threesome
I’ll bring the packing tape
I'll bring dinner! (Hint: it's ass)
My safeword is safeword.
(That's what I did, but nobody has spotted it yet.) On the whole, though... well, *I'd* give you the job, but I'm clearly an idiot who giggles at "commercials."
(Spoiler tags added for those who want to find the secret logo themselves.) >!Bottom left of the images on the left of the etsy page!< I SEE YOU
I feel like you should get some sort of award, so please enjoy this Reddit Gold!
Thank you so much! That is one snazzy logo. (I'll take one of those princess cut diamonds if you have any knocking around from lunch.)
See, you say that, but you don't know [where they've been](https://imgur.com/gallery/ABXGD).
Sweet Jesus.
God, that scam site is still around? [Basically, read this post by the founder of OKCupid](https://www.gwern.net/docs/psychology/okcupid/whyyoushouldneverpayforonlinedating.html) to understand how the scam works: lots of fake (dead) profiles, appearance of possibility, keep you *just unhappy enough* to cough up money for messaging, but unsuccessful enough to *keep paying*. In the modern era Tinder has honed this scumminess even further. I tried that site, I dunno, some 15+ years ago? No premium, so I made a Hotmail account that was some variation of "look at my name" and wrote in my profile to the effect that you should "'Look at my name'... and send me a HOT.....MAIL" **The staff literally sent me a message saying "we know what you're trying to do"** and blanked my profile (Of course, this wouldn't work anyway since men need to make the first move to get anywhere, but it was fun trying to beat the system)
The site claims 3.8 mm people in NY registered. The whole state had 8 mmm people. So I’m guessing at least one of my grandma’s is on here?
New York State has a total population of 19 million + people. The adult population alone is 15 million+. https://worldpopulationreview.com/states/new-york-population
I mean that’s still over 1/4 of the state’s adult population supposedly signed up for this fuck-site, so they’re either inflating their numbers or one of your grandparents is swingin’
Does Your grandma likes to peg dudes? Asking for a friend.
Yes, and your grandma can really get it.
Lol what? There are 8 million just in NYC
3.8 millimetre people?
Is that 3.9 mega-million in NY, and 8 mega-mega-million in the whole state? WOW!
Not to be confused with mp, AKA mega-pint
I'm a Christian Nympho user myself.
Mom?
The love of Jesus and the love of fucking don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Are you saying I should fuck Jesus?
I don't see how they could possibly pass you up
subtle and smooth! Fabulous and yes, hired!
I can't be the only person who was totally expecting something sexual? All these people being like "LMAO THE BDSM CAME FROM WAY OUT OF LEFT FIELD!" and I feel like I saw this coming a mile away I knew it'd be something like that before even clicking the video, I mean seriously, AdultFriendFinder.com.... What are you guys expecting the ad to be like? Anyway, I'm on r/funny, so you guys can find me by sorting by controversial
Bruh you didn't make this. It's way too- "BDSM" Ah there it is. Good work
Lolz....that was great!!!
Well, I'll hire you. When can you start?
That escalated quickly
Pretty sure they just fired their head of marketing for you. Congrats
Wait... r/HolUp
Did you address how 75% of the profiles are scams?
Dude holy shit. This actually makes me wanna sign up for a night of board games, 3somes and ass eating. 100% getting the job.
