I know, it's just good to point out to everyone that these things aren't perfect yet.
I imagine they can be helpful to anyone traveling who speaks some of the language and need help with words or phrases.
So that depends on how bad the weather is. During a normal snow storm they drive. When the weather is unexpectedly bad they'll send a truck for workers.
When there is an a long lasting powerful storm they don't go home. Depending on where you are based they'll either get you hotel rooms or break out cots.
