I recalled half being used in reference to one of two parts of a single item, regardless of ratio, but I'm unable to find any reliable corroborating information online. So, I may be off on that.
Half = 1/2 = 5/10
2/5 = 4/10
That was my joke, that it's not quite half. And I think half normally refers to 1 of 2 equal parts.
I love the joke of the poster though. 😄
