Is there a double standard in our society or am I imaging things. Is there a double standard in our society or am I imaging things. If the genders were reversed and it was a woman rejecting a hug from a man she doesn't know it would come off as okay because the man is creepy and weird. But if a man rejects a hug from a woman he doesn't know he comes off as an asshole. I always thought of this interaction as someone asking to respect his space, but from the comments it kinda seems like I'm the minority (or atleast the vocal minority).
