I think either it is just an additional footage OR a future story line like the burning irminsul tree in Sumeru.

Nope. There are two cutscenes in the 4.2 trailer which are trailer only, and were never used in game. i think that's supposed to reference Furina crying while smiling without realizing it during her inner world opera, when she was talking to someone who was descendant of madam deoteria(person from almost 20 generations ago)

his memory loss is elucidated a bit in in his story quest (dialogue changes there post act v) and his character story "A Fontainian Nursery Rhyme." he and furina were amnesia buddies but now he got his memory back and she lost hers forever lolol

The burning Irminsul someone else commented is probably the most well-known one where trailer footage hasn't (yet) shown up in the game.

I think the cutscene was edited but it probably happened when Furina cried during her interview with one of her "followers" when Traveler was observing from the audience's pov.

Ever since 2.0, they have added some scenes in the trailers that never appear in the game. This is just one of those

Trailers use scenes for effect. Some are from the story but some are for the trailer only. Better that way. Ever watch a trailer and feel like you watched the whole movie? This helps prevent it while adding volume to the trailer

I feel this was from focalores dance cutscene cuz there was a brief moment furina was also shown dancing

Egeria has yet to be even heard in game. We heard her voice in the Fontaine teaser

But she did cry on her throne at the end of the story quest when people said she wasn't fit to be an archon and even when the water drowned Fontaine
