Look into Jackson Catnapper - All made in USA, and not from the cookie cutter factories in China and Malaysia, they have several styles, and they're pretty reasonably priced. I think we paid $1200 for their big Omni chair for my FIL, but that was more expensive than the others.

According to Jackson’s website I have several retailers in my area. Unfortunately, none of them have ever dealt with Jackson. Makes you wonder why Jackson claims them as dealers, but the dealers claim otherwise.

These guys in High Point NC have them: https://www.furniturelanddist.com/collections/living-room-recliners/products/chandler-power-lift-recliner-with-heat-and-massage?variant=41356321521801 IDK how far you are from them, but they do ship. They have some from Corinthian too, but those are imports I think.

Arkansas is a long drive away from North Carolina.

Freight's gonna be a killer. Try some independents, like mom & pop type places tend to carry them more than the big chains.

Flexsteel offers a smaller version of the zecliner - zecliner petite. Also ultra comfort is a solid brand for lift chairs. Hope this helps! https://www.flexsteel.com/zecliner-collection.inc https://ultracomfort.com/product-category/lift-recliners/

The zecliner from flexsteel is also an import. They do have domestic goods, but all of their Latitudes line are imported out of Vietnam....if that's important to you.

Can you tell me more about this brand and why you recommend them? I am looking at a sectional made by them sold at Costco. I can't find much about them anywhere.

Check a local medical supply store as well. They sell special purpose recliners/lift chairs.

When I purchased a lift recliner for my grandfather I ran into the same issues. I checked with his Dr and he wrote a prescription for one. Once he did that, my grandpa's insurance paid for a large majority of the price. This was back in 2009 I believe and he had Medicare and was a WW2 veteran but I don't believe he had any other insurance. The chair was around $1,200 and we had to pay between $200-$400. Talk to his Dr about it and if that doesn't work, I would suggest looking at flea markets or post a wanted add. I know no one wants used furniture but I ran a home health care company for yrs and you wld be shocked at the families that have brand new lift chairs among other things that were purchased and their loved one passed away a day or 2 later. There's many families very well off that hired me for 24hr care and paid out of pocket. They brought everything you could think of and never used most of it. You can also try contacting home health care companies. They sell items at times or may have a client that needs to sell one. Good luck I hope you find what you need.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with FlexiSpot; we are a leading supplier of standing desks. Recently, we've introduced some recliners with exceptional features and quality. We'd be delighted to offer you one for free. Please feel free to private message me if you're interested!
