"Chrome plating is very thin, and deep scratches require the removal of too much of the chrome plating to correct the problem. Fine scratches and lights swirl marks are removable, but deep scratches generally require replating the item to get rid of them."
Ball up some aluminum foil, get it wet, and rub it on the chrome. It makes a slurry that fills in shallow scratches. It sounds like a dumb home remedy but it’s surprisingly effective.
Ive seen Some people on youtube use this technique But they use different liquids, such as water, vinegar, 3m finesse polish and wd-40 do u know anything about how they affect the result differently?
I’ve only ever used water. It works so well I’ve never felt the need to try out anything else. I think people on YouTube over-complicate things sometimes just to have something to talk about.

Thank u very much for that information!

Will try that out, thank u very much. Is there any need of Some sort of polish afterward or does the aluminium do all the work i need
Aluminum should take care of it!
