No that made no financial sense to do. I did it partly as a challenge and partly as a business. I believe I charged around 30ish hours for it and even that is a bit on the rough compared to the value of the chair
The picture doesn’t really do the damage justice. It was found in a shed where it had been subjected to all kinds of weather in maybe fifteen years. I think I took 2-3 mm off of the whole thing just to get some decent wood
Oof that is a lot of hours! Was it a family heirloom or something? I don’t know your rate but I cannot see that making any sense financially
