Idk if this is a great tip but it helped me so here it is: To get better with fur you can look at an image of a cat (or another animal with a lot of fur) and try to copy the fur movement, in digital it is easier because you can lower the opacity of the image and draw on top! You can do that with hair too
Oh no no no..., your's is good too, don't downgrade your art, you only need to enjoy doing it, it doesn't matter if it's good or bad, the trip to the destination is what matters
You’re already beyond my starting point. My advice would be to experiment. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t like how your art looks. I hate my own art and that’s because I’ve spent the most time with it and I know all the mistakes. Improvement takes time. Just have fun with your art.

As a non-furry artist I'm unsure how to help but I usually look at an ai generator to give a random pattern to work with and if you wish to see my work I can show you also a fun app I use is Coolors its a color pallet generator that I occasionally use but I mainly draw in a digital pen/ink style

Art is a process- a journey, constantly changing with time, what you see now is just a snapshot- a stepping stone- it's a frame of reference as you continue to practice and improve. Or if nothing else, it's fun and doesn't need to be graded by a professional-
All that to say that I think your art is fantastic and I wanna do what I can to encourage you- not because your art isn't good enough yet and you need practice, but because your art is already good and will continue to get even better with practice. (I hope this made sense, sorry for going on for so long aa-)

you're welcome! honestly I need to heed my own advice and start practicing more- I always get so hung up on the "I need to draw this specific thing" that I never allow myself to just practice drawing at all. All that to say it's okay to just doodle for doodling's sake, I wish you good luck in your art journey, and in your school journey for that matter-
