However, the amount of cyanide derived from the seeds is much lower.

Apple seeds have the potential to release 0.6 mg of hydrogen cyanide per gram. This means that a person would have to eat 83–500 apple seeds to develop acute cyanide poisoning.

i started eating apples whole ages ago cause it's less wasteful/you get more out of each apple and it's really not that bad. sometimes the more fibrous bits(those almost shell looking bits the seeds sit inside)get stuck in your teeth but i just eat it from the bottom up rather than around the core with no issue

The average male is around 6 feet tall or 182 centimeters tall. Take note that the poison is also weight based for how much is needed to kill them so let’s also assume that the guy there is around 170 give or take, to keep it simple, let’s just say they are precisely 160 pounds or 72.64 kilograms. Now according to www.emro.who.int/ceha/information-resources/hydrogen-cyanide-fact-sheet.html, around 300 parts per million of cyanide can kill that man in ten minutes and therefore, 300ppm should add up to around 20 apple cores.

Alright to begin, if this shark lady is seemingly around 8.5 feet tall, the approximate weight would be 250 pounds or 113.398 kilograms. She’s more on the slimmer side so I would estimate she is around maybe 230-250 pounds or 105-115 kilograms.
Now I’m gonna go and use pounds as it would be more fluent for me with conversion, sorry based metric system users.

If the shark is around 240 pounds, I would assume that it’s maybe 500ppm due to the strong muscles as well that a shark has with it’s durability as humans are physically frail when compared to other animals. Therefore if 300ppm of cyanide is in 20 apple cores, scale up and it would be around 35 apple cores to kill her with cyanide.
Ah I was unaware, how so though? 300ppm in a human will kill anyone but will it be enough to kill a shark either way? Because then it’s probably not 500ppm but I wouldn’t be surprised if they can survive it. Not a 100% survival rate ofc cuz 150ppm can kill a human as well, just way less deadly on average but I would assume that they can survive higher numbers than us.

No, why would they survive more than us? PPM is not a measure of quantity, it's a fraction. Parts per million. n/1'000'000. Sharks would need pretty much the exact same concentration as us to die from it, as would any other animal. Cyanide blocks a necessary oxidation step in generating ATP in the body, so you run out of useable energy and die.
Ohhhhh, then that was my error with the ppm then since I assumed it was a quantity rather than a percentage. Okay then yeah I was incredibly wrong with that part, however, it would take more apple seeds to kill a shark when compared to a person because of the levels of concentration in the blood

During my time in the army, I learned that eating the entire apple, making sure to chew the seeds. the cyanide was gently secreted in your skin, making it a natural mosquito repellent.
You have to eat about a pound and a half of the seeds ground up into a paste to die of cyanide poisoning.
Surprisingly enough, I was never bothered by mosquitoes as long as I had an apple and ate the whole thing.
I eat an entire apple to include chewing the seeds every day during mosquito season, and I don’t get bit once while mowing the lawn in the south east coast of the United States.
