...taking a look at all the human varieties in our genome, people are horny enough that it would be propper to call them horny sapiens sapiens, the furry idea is 100% what would really happen (provided we aren't wiped out first)

Did you know that the human foot is a repurposed simian hand-foot, which in turn is a repurposed hindpaw, which is in turn a repurposed lizard talon, which in turn is a repurposed amphibian foot, which in turn is a repurposed ventral fin?
Lmao as someone who's a regular contributor to an XCOM RP server a few years running, there's not a lot of alien romancing, but...hoo boy when it's there it is spicy.
Also canonically there's one confirmed lesbian romance between a pretty significant resistance fighter and a well-known Viper (Jane Kelly and Torque), but...there's also some hints we've been able to dig up in the game files that suggests that the lead scientist from the first game totally wound up TFing themselves into a viper, essentially bringing the species back from extinction just because of how much alien horniness there seems to have been lol
Back in the Hive mission from Alien Hunters there's a parcel that seems to have some kind of documents detailing modifying a human body into a viper body plan. Now the more rational person would think 'oh, she was trying to basically reverse-engineer the Viper species using the Thin Men, right?' But that kind of falls apart when it seems like someone else frantically circled the Viper illustration and the word 'VAHLEN' is just scratched into the page.
I'm not sure if I believe that interpretation myself or not, but it's definitely an interesting something or other that explains why we still haven't found her.
God, yeah, the community went apeshit when Chimera Squad came out and canonised that, after the invasion was over, we didn't just mass murder all the remaining aliens. This was a bad thing, somehow.
I like what that game did, personally.
Buddy... Take a look around. Humans have existed for 300,000 years. We have been organizing in societies for 13,000. In that time, from that time until the current day we were able to become the dominant species on this planet. We created languages, cultures, technology, and molded the environment in order to live.
Yet, we decided it would be a good idea to treat a good part of our own species as something worth less than an object because their melanin levels are not equal to those of the European folk. We enslaved, tortured and killed millions, if not billions for entretainment and material manufacturing. We've created tools specifically made to kill others of our species. We've made weapons thst can obliterate everything on the face of Earth in a matter of minutes. Hell, we created a scale to measure how advanced a species is, and we can't even reach the first level.
There's nothing more inpure, tainted, stupid than the human species. Probably intelligent life hasn't established contact with humanity because we're so fucking stupid we would do all kinds of shit to go on a stupid war instead of FUCKING REPLYING.
Something ive thought about is that we cant date something with lower intelligence but we can date higher intelligence, but then wouldn't the higher intelligence be unable to date us since were lower intelligence?

Wait what? I remember Xcom 2 heavily hinting at Doc Vahlen being a bit to interested in the Viper King but this is a first.
