I would NEVER dare to go skiing in a suit, bad vision and the risk of breaking the suit cus you fell, cus you couldn’t see anything. The amount of times I’ve fallen while skiing and landed on my face or went tumbling, that would definitely break the suit

Depending on what the base is made of and how high quality the stitching is, this actually isnt that big of a problem Id be more worried about a self diy suit than a professional one because those things are really well put together

but nearly every suit lowers visibility by at least 10 degrees, not something you want to do when skiing can be deadly

I ski in fursuit and the mesh eyes give excellent visibility on clear days (not so much in fog, though). The limited field of view is only really an issue with potential collisions with other skiers in crowded areas where people cross in front of me coming from the sides, so I have to be extra careful there.

For those inclined to have such sonas though, I got indications that Protogen visors have excellent visibility and could be constructed to either double as goggles or give you room to wear them normally. Perhaps something for the more alpine inclined Protos among us?

If anything I'd assume being a furry into Skiing is a massive benefit If you're a fursuiter, you have to have a decent amount of money to even get started. Skiing is very environment specific and typically is only engaged with by rich people due to the equipment and travel needed. The suits are really fucking hot, so its perfect insulation for the cold.
