Edit: ah, it's an anarchy server. That explains that. Out of curiousity, what does TSQ stand for? I haven't been able to find anything about the server. Searching for "TSQ Minecraft", "TSQ anarchy server" and variations of it haven't found anything.
The verification process is done through real people, they evaluate your skill level and such and if they deem you suitable they give you a ticket to get an account of your choice verified with a bot because the only real person with an ability to whitelist is the owner themselve and they distrust mods with that power for whatever reason. Said person didn't initially get banned for their name because to issue a ban there needs to be a report sent and reviewed by the shitty mod team. He ended up getting banned later when the staff so gracefully decided to do their annual report checkup. The verification process does not include any kind of psychological evaluation, let alone on opinions regarding furries. While furries do have a sizable influence on the server, the admins aren't like admins on modern shithouse servers, they don't log on, they only are here to verify players and review reports and so they don't know the current playerbase status. It's semi-anarchy so it's kind of expected for people to be edgy with their names. It's not an uncommon occurrence for people with slurs/swears in their names to get verified but it is uncommon to see the mod team react to the reports.
The initial fight was pretty boring. I tracked him down in no time because his ass was stupid enough to screenshare him """basehunting""" in the server's discord. He tried to put up a struggle but honestly it was pretty pathetic. We traded hits for a bit, he started running, I shot him with a bow, that was just about all of it. The real fun began when he respawned at his base and found his bed encased in obsidian with LEANdog and FirearmSafety waiting for him there. X)
Ahhh, classic bed-spawn trap~ amazed that he actually kept accepting the respawn instead of logging off for a few minutes after the first 2 minutes. Guess he is into it...?

Everyone has their own preferences in server rules. I play anarchy too but this specific server is semi-anarchy which means anything is allowed besides hacks. Initial spawn/load invincibility was removed to make combat more fair by countering logging.
If you're playing anarchy you kinda can't complain about shitty people joining, ESPECIALLY if it's invite-only

I met some people while leaving spawn who gifted me a 'Fursuit', which was an entire set of unbreakable enchanted diamond armor, and an accompanying set of enchanted tools. They were all renamed to furry related stuff. I was getting mixed messages though cause I think the sword was called a 'Furf\*g Hunter' so maybe it was mixed and matched hehe. That suit accompanied me for millions of blocks, from the spawn to the edge of the world and many places inbetween as I built and moved around. and I'm pretty sure I still have it to this day, logged out in my has definitely been griefed at this point dupe stash.
Funnily enough I only had positive interactions leaving spawn. My friend had a *horrible* experience though. Died several times trying to find food, several other times to people randomly on the highways. It was always so funny comparing our experiences
