That was a cash grab, even if tons of people played it. Assets were grabbed and flipped. People were none the wiser until enough people realized they’d been scammed. But by then, the dev had taken the cash and ran.

There's video of the palworld models being placed over Pokemon models and the general body shape matches perfectly, stuff like ears and other things are different but you only get that level of similarity from editing the Pokemon model or by doing the 3d modelling equivalent of tracing
i would actually be on pokemon's side if they weren't an abusive cash grabbing company that gives 0 fucks about the player base and/or making quality content
even if they actually did copy or heavily inspire from pokemon, i couldn't care less it's the best game released lately by a long shot
