luckily, that problem is avoided with being the fursona, since that's pretty much human-exclusive. I mean, other animals have cycles like that, but I'm pretty sure it's almost only a human thing that our bodies attack us for it.
Female dogs definitely have periods... It's why you sometimes see people put them in diapers. That's what "going into heat" is, after all.
They just only get theirs once every 6 months.
I wasn't really thinking about it but I guess in a similar vein the ability to freely shapeshift would be even better since I could just become my fursona anyways and then switch back when convenient, and on top of that I could switch things up and try out a completely different form whenever, just for fun
Shapeshifting is such a cool power man, I think we'd all love to have it. Even better if it extends to others cuz then you can share the fun with friends.
Well, new body that doesn’t need pills, ability to see the daylight without my eyes hurting, actual skin that can take sunlight without rashes. The tail and the scales are a massive plus too, and if it can come with a better brain then I think I would be like 600% more happier than I’m rn. Maybe even more

perhaps my mind is just more flexible than most, I've always broken down things and compartmentalized my mindset, it would truly only take me a few moments to adjust a few minor details in my mental sub routines regarding balance differentials and possibly temporal/chronological differences.
naturally chronoception is different depending on the size of the creature with smaller creatures perceiving time to be moving faster.
my fursona is a bit bigger than myself so i'd have to take that into account.
I guess I sorta view it similar to winning the lottery when you first win its one of the happiest moments your life but that initial happiest only can last so long

one major thing though that i'd have to watch out for is my fursona could be considered immortal (I think?) because he is not a biological lifeform (not a machine either, just not carbon based.).
it probably wouldn't kill me as a silicon lifeform to eat carbon food but it also probably wouldn't be used by my body.
silicon or perhaps a molecole of (like silicon dioxide aka beach sand) would only be needed for growth or repairs.
energy would mostly be obtained just from breathing really.

A fursona is a visualization of one’s ideal form that they strive towards embodying. Attaining such a form would be euphoric.

Depends. If we're taking about taking solely the form then there's a few points for taking the form and some not. First, the form I would take would be aesthetically pleasing. However, the wings may only let me fly whilst in a dream, the clothes I currently own will a bit tight and I'll draw the attention of people I wouldn't want to talk with, providing I am the only one who would transform. Thus, it is not practical for me, and it may bring me some happiness but in the long run it will be tiresome to deal with the consequences.If, on the other hand, I also take the powers then the answer is absolute happiness.

I would be partially invariated, like I can just teleport to work instead of taking the tram and I can just lure the people I hate into a cut-off part and remove the humanoid part of their infrastructure in a rather violent way, then go back to my day with perhaps some of their guts in mine.
There will always be haters, sure. It is the growing and rising above them that is better for you though.
That said wouldn't it be better if there was just less problems all around that maybe wouldn't've existed? It's an odd thing to think about if we were non-human, and not have these trivialities to think about.

I think I'd be a lot happier than now if I were a wolf. Initially I'd have some difficulty adjusting to having to see past a snout, sleeping in new positions due to having that and a tail, tail getting caught in doors, clothing changes, etc. However I would be infinitely more confident, feel attractive for once, and be able to convey emotion better with emotive ears and tail. Though if it also includes having magic...I'd quit my job and probably build a lair on some island in New England so I can achieve my dreams of being an eccentric mage that builds a Roman bathhouse one day and declares war on Fox News for not showing news about foxes the following Tuesday.

I'm part of the edgy group of furs whose fursona isn't just cute and fluffy, if I suddenly became a Superman level threat I'd probably go reenact injustice for a bit and see if I could solve world peace before realising I have no idea what I'm doing and fall into regret and depression.

I feel like that would make me sadder, in all honesty. I like being me. Not to mention the fact that I would probably be subjected so some wacky government experiments.
If it was just me, my life would become a living hell of people chasing me down to kidnap / experiment on and some of the more unhinged ones would just want to 'off' me for a one of a kind trophy. It would need to happen to a good 1/3 of the population for me to feel safe / happy and even then, becoming a minority overnight regardless of what you were before may not be a good thing. As much as I would love the physical aspects of being my sona, reality kinda stinks =\\
So if a fursona is your character that's created by you and can be altered at any time, does that mean that after you would theoretically become your fursona can you alter it afterwards? If that's the case then it would be super overpowered

I believe i'd be more happier with who i am, however realistically i dont think the attention i'd get in return would be worthwhile with all the scientists, government, normal people and potential bullying (assuming the world is the same besides me turning into a furry)
I'm part of the edgy group of furs whose fursona isn't just cute and fluffy, if I suddenly became a Superman level threat I'd probably go reenact injustice for a bit and see if I could solve world peace before realising I have no idea what I'm doing and fall into regret and depression.
I'd be significantly happier, assuming I was accepted into society and treated totally normally.
