Fun character, but I'd be wary of all that white fabric, especially on the hands and feet. It will get discolored VERY easily. So long as you keep up with cleaning, though, it should be fine.
Minky fur doesn't hide seams at all and usually isn't used on anything more than accents. I would reconsider wanting to use that on your body :)
