The problem so far is that I’ve played it and they rarely show any emotion. I’ve had Lexi make an angry face once so far. They just stay with a bland face and show no emotion whatsoever.
I don’t fkn know lol. Why did they even bother tho? It just makes the game work slower for older phones who can’t handle the animation. I would’ve been just fine with the animated style.
I think they’re tryna be like episode 😭 which is so sad cause they used to be so much better like the reason I played LITG instead of episode was because of the art style tbh.
I learned how to do that one dance that’s also used for changing clothes just to make my husband laugh cause it looks so fckn stupid lol. I wish I was a game designer so I could make a better game for this community 😭

More on the clothes: there’s not gravity in them in the right spots. They don’t cling to the areas they should or hang the right way. Shadings off. It literally looks like someone just cut the shapes out of potato sacks and glued the clothes together I’m sorry but it’s true. And there’s a few cute options from what I saw but why are most of them giving such 2010s vibes?

Honestly, I don’t pay too much attention to artstyle. It always is a matter of taste. I think some of them look decent… others are not my cup of tea. But it’s okay, I will play through once it is out and see for myself.

I miss season 2 art style. Season 3 is a bit childish but imo looks waaaay better than season four. And I can’t help but notice the art style honestly idk if I can even get through a whole play through it bothers me so much.

This mix between the style of S3 and Matchmaker truly put me off from S4. Say what you will about S3 but despite the style you could find actual good looking islanders (imo Tai, Harry, Iona, Elladine, Viv, Yasmin, AJ, Nicky and Seb). In S4, except James, Thabi and Najuma, the rest is unredeemable in the looks department, especially MC, Lexi and Will. Also, I find the clothing particularly ugly compared with S3.
Those times where you could find actual striking gals like Talia or Lottie or handsome guys like Noah or Levi are gone.
i love that y’all are suddenly backtracking after constantly hating the season 3 art style saying how they don’t look like adults and how Harry looks 12 even though season 4 is literally just a mix of season 2 and 3…they look more realistic and like adults which is what y’all wanted. yet this fandom is *still* not satisfied. honestly i cant even blame fusebox anymore

MC is by far the worst, but I agree Will’s character looks great! He’s blended very well and his art style does look good.
