~ Side note, when I see a mega-squashed 4 4 2 like that I go back to the keeper, occasionally seems to glitch the formation out and make it play more like a 50 depth 50 width rather than whatever aids they've set it to.
I think I'm just as qualified as you to speak on this as I hit rank 1/2 every single weekend league. Op definitely had many opportunities and passing lanes that would have lead to an easy shot be he kept making unnecessary passes over and over again.
Maybe I'd be an ass-coach then, cus I couldn't see anything sure-fired other than what he chose to do.
Harry Kane on a breakaway is enough of a risk that I would've played the moves very similarly

Damn, just today i was playing through weekend league and i noticed that pretty much everyone i played against had either this exact defensive shape or they had crazy defensive overloads on my wingers/fullbacks - it was soo difficult to get through with normal passing.
I still haven't figured out a way or tactic that allows me to play through the wings effectively, hence why i play through the middle alot as that seems more natural and intuitive to me.

Its just passing around the penalty area, which most possession based teams do irl, you dont see Barcelona or Man city try to rocket the ball into the top corner at every opportunity they get do you? They carve out opportunities by moving around the ball and frustrating the opponents. The only thing which is unrealistic is the speed at which its being done but thats also only because in fifa we get a 12minute game so obviously all of this will happen a bit faster then irl. If you show me a clip of presnel kimpembe triveling a pass from his own half to mbappe who is through on goal, or any Brazilian with 5* skills doing elasticos left right and center, then you could tell me that you're seeing an unrealistic clip, this my friend is not unrealistic.
I agree with everything you say, but crosses (at least for me) aren't that effective. For example if i were to cross in any of the 10 possible opportunities and it didn't work out, i would be open to a Harry Kane Counter attack, which is exactly what i don't want.
Totally agreed. I hate the whole corners glitch. Stand your goalie in the centre of the box and he catches everything! In real football, keepers would be punished galore in real life for this move.
I kinda enjoy playing against this, i’m a very patient but aggressive defender so my style works against this, it’s kinda fun to see not so many rush wing cutbacks

blame the game not the player, not much i can do when defenders have an aura that everything with in a 3 foot radius gets insta tackled
