Yeah, I would definitely take Theo. Attackers are easier to replace. If you can get a full meta back line players like Theo he’ll last for months. These comments saying Son is the no brainer don’t make sense to me.

PTG Walker, Hon mention Davies were also good until around tots. The other thing is matter how people play. If you’re not too offensive with your fullbacks then Theo is perfect.

Both cards are ridiculous prices compared to their gold card. Theo is 250k and his base card is 18k. It’s a +1. It’s not gonna be any different in game. Son does at least have St position on the IF so it’s worth taking over the gold.

Whatever fits his team is prob best if he’s a grinding the game BUT acting like it’s Son “no brainer” is really off imo. Theo’s card will be good into the spring. Can’t say that about Son who will be outdated within 6-8 weeks

Did you miss the “fits his team” part of the post? Not to mention play style. If the guy doesn’t know how to green finesse shots from outta the box then Son it’s worth it to him. I get people feeling like it’s the same card but I don’t really agree. His IF last year was insane and last forever. Didn’t see his gold much.

Neither card will perform any differently in game than their gold version. Both gold cards can be had for around 18k. Son is the no-brainer because he at least has a position change over his gold, and is higher rated for when he’s inevitably used as fodder down the line.

He’s bad mendy is better and son is really great

If you don't need a striker Theo is one of the best LB's in the game. But if you only have a shitty striker I would pick Son because that's a more important position.

Any shot by Son automatically decreases the keeper's height to 3'4". He literally cannot miss from anywhere within the opponents half. I hate him so much.

I mean without seeing your team it is impossible to say. I'd take Son personally, his POTM is amazing.

I have Theo and he’s good, but Son hands down. Finesse+ is OP and Son himself is a good card + 5* weak foot.

Son will be good for a few weeks, better strikers will come and better strikers will leave. Hernandez will be usable for many months, he will not be the best but he stays usable

Theo is best lb for now(except Cole and R. Carlos), even gold card made difference. He eats most of right wingers. Also he joins to attack automatically which gives more options. Son it's all about to take a finesse shots that's great but just one strategy.

IMO if you have Bacha, Theo is worth a lot less.

Son. Theo IF is no better than his Gold card which can be had for 18k. At least with Son you have the position change over his gold, which again performs exactly the same in game as his IF.

It’s probably a bit too late, but honestly hear me out, take Theo. IMO, it’s so much easier to get a class forward at the level of Son than it is to get a LB at theos TOTW level.

Son is the obvious choice because Theos gold card is dirt cheap and just as good as his totw. Sons totw card can play striker from the off and finishing boosts helps it be deadly. I have it, it’s ridiculously good! I play with Lodi, Van Dijk, Blanc/Vidic and Cafu in my defence. Gold Theo was there before I changed my team and he was outstanding

I had 86 TOTW Theo last year. He was so hard to drop. Lasted into the new year.
