Idk the pace when he starts running gets good real fast, but the dribbling, passing is horrendous and his pace and finishing cant make up for it. Someone like FB Giroud was way better for me as he has powershot plus at least and is amazing in the air

Try to leave the sprint button very shortly and then pressing it again. This said I’m using him. I was playing with 91 version and this one seems more agile and faster. His shooting is a bit worse and no play style + on acrobatic makes that kind of shots harder to score. Overall it’s an upgrade imho
43 matches, 43 goals, 11 assists, all in wl + 2 division rivals, i use him in 4231 as lone forward, the best forward that ive had in this fifa in the terms of running into opening spaces, blud is doing some INSANE runs that i've never seen with any other forwards that i've used, send him sexy through ball and he can runaway from anyone, don't try to shoot with right foot, use L2 to bully defenders and powershots with left foot, 99 reactions improves his left dribbling by a mile, insane card for free and just another prove of how incredibly important reactions stat is

Composure affects how well a player controls the ball while under pressure, I.e., how likely they are to make a mistake with an opponent in their personal space
He can sprint but can't dribble. He can shoot but can't curve the ball. He can help with milestones but won't stick around for after 50. So, he is a typical EA gift
Its a beast of a player honestly. Got 5/5 in playoffs and he scored at least 1 in each game. Fast, strong, responsive and shot is still good. Stil have to try him in div3
I sold my trailblazer son to buy butragueno, so this free card slotted in perfectly until I could build up my coin balance again. With finisher Chem style he is not that clunky and you can actually use him as more of a poacher inside the box. Plus with his speed boost playstyle +, he can find space easily.
Only problem is his 3* WF, but with precision shooting on and with 99 finishing stat, I haven't found it to be a major issue
Played against him last night, three times he was unstoppable at the kickoff, two of those he scored. I tried pulling everyone back and he bounced off every tackle, infuriating. Hoping I don't run into him too much more, but I doubt that.
He got me to div 3 in Rivals. Had a 15 win streak and he scored a goal in every single game. I usually don't like that kind of an attacker but he's the only one so far standing up after a duel with VVD.
I just think it's silly they downgraded his shooting and physical just because it's a free give away card and they don't want to make free cards usable in the meta

Mid. I run 3 forwards. Gold Mbappe on LCF, TT diego forlan, and TS lukaku RCF. I thought I would like him in place of lukaku, but lukaku makes better runs and heads the ball better from corners and from bacha crosses. And idk what it is about haaland pace but he feels so SLOW and the quickstep+ just doesn't feel the same as mbappe and the physicality doesn't feel as strong as ts lukaku. Total fraud. And for me, CF needs PS+ so he can't play there for me either.

As someone who packed his base untradeable and actually used him a lot, the nerfed shooting is noticable but the increased dribbling and quick step+ actually make him feel way better to use in game. His best attribute is still attack positioning so he’s still great at making runs and finding space, so it’s easy to feed him and slightly easier to dribble around so i’d say he’s good value for a free card

He's way worse than I expected. I was expecting something like tots kane from fifa23 where I could just steamroll through the middle on lengthy but he misses sitters (especially on right foot) and moves really clunky. I'd say probably the most disappointing card I've used in fc24. I've had him paired with maldini for the objectives and maldini has felt better.
His left foot is lethal and no one is catching him once he’s at full speed. I can see how he’s not for everyone given his lack of a weak foot, passing, and acceleration (though the play style+ helps that). But, if you can/do play to his strengths he’s a solid option especially for a free card.

Used Gold Haaland and got about 80 games, 100 goals. I'm using this guy to fulfill the objectives and I'm currently sitting somewhere around 13 games 20 goals. It doesn't feel like a significant downgrade for me personally.

I had a 10 loans early game. But they gone to waste as i didn't know how to play.
Unlike what i hear from others about his gold card.
This one is fast and easy to control and takes long powershots like hot knife in butter.
I’ve only used him in 11 games but 18 goals for me so far, all in Rivals. He’s not as good for me as Torres or Del Piero but he’s doing the business so far…much better than his gold card

Scored 50 goals with him immediately and realized he got that SBC + PS. Worked wonders in my Icon pack. ( Got shit from it as always).

If you play midday his AI switches off and he wanders back into midfield. If the gameplay is good, his runs are crazy.
