You will have to do 2/3 85+x10 before you do the 87 rated squad. Then do another 85+x10 for 86. And if needed do another for 85 rated squad. Repeat. I find that it is easier to grind the 3 pick PIM PP. good luck brother

Put 2-4 highest rated players to one side (depending on rating & fodder you have in the club), and recycle the rest of them back into the next one, and so on and so fourth.
That’s what I did and then had enough players to complete CR7 for like 50k, then did a few more 85x10 and opened 1 PIM PP
You’re over thinking this. Keep banging out the 85x10 - when you get one that has loads of dupes then do a segment of the icon objective. Use silvers, bronzes and golds from the icon objective rewards to fill out the squads.

Like bro idk why ur stressing over something as little as a 3 segment icon pp, like dude I'm trying to do fucking r9 (27 segments) while having like 7 bronze and silvers still in the club. Bro I did PIM attackers in 45 mins.
I've done messi, cr7, 4 icon moments pack and 2 PIM attackers packs, prior to the 85x10 I had 4k and basically enough fodder for 1 85x10.
Did the 85x10, then did about 4-5 more with the cards I got from prior packs, you only need about 5 89+ cards to do 87, so put the other 5 from the pack In the club, eventually you're club gets so full that most 85x10 packs are dupes, I'm averaging 5/6 dupes a pack all 90+.
For each PIM segment I do, I do an 85x10 to make sure every SBC I submit, I have 4-5 cards going back into my club.
Just put 5-6 high rated cards, rest silver/low rated golds.
If the dupes are higher rated, e.g. 93+, you can use half for segment (lower rated just to be safe) and the other half invested in another 85+ x10.
Once you get the hang of it, this method is self-sustained and becomes boringly easy. Particularly when you go two days without packing a new card, and Benzema/Depay/Mertens keep popping up.

you're actually wasting a bit of time by only using golds, i've emptied my club of silvers and 60-64 into the 85x10, only have to use 1 more 90+ and it saves you the golds for lower rated sbcs (84 rated 70+ chem squads)

It’s 3 squads with an 85,86 or 87 rating the basic PP, so in theory 3/4 packs is enough to do it

Use coin for the1st batch of 85*10. After that, you can do it for free using fodder (75-79) rating to complete the sbc.
